Pray for the DEATH of PUNXSUTAWNEY PHIL!!!

Friends, once a year our ONCE AND FUTURE GREAT nation falls to the evils of FALSE IDOL DEMON WORSHIP! Every February 2nd, this country finds itself under the influence of giant RODENTS known as "groundhogs" (not HOGS at all) who claim to be able to FORETELL THE FUTURE and tell us how many more weeks of winter we shall see!
I don't recall reading anything in my Bible about prognosticating rats!

2 Kings 21:6 And he made his son pass through the fire, and observed times, and used enchantments, and dealt with familiar spirits and wizards: he wrought much wickedness in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.

Isaiah 8:19-20 And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead? To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

Jeremiah 29:8 For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Let not your prophets and your diviners, that be in the midst of you, deceive you, neither hearken to your dreams which ye cause to be dreamed.

The most famous of these idolatrous critters is Punxsutawney Phil, a chubby little disease carrier who claims to know the future but is IN TRUTH a LIEberal plant who exists solely to steal people away from THE LORD! Proof: (1) Was the subject of a LIEberal HELLYWEIRD "movie" called "Groundhog Day" in which noted "funnyman" Bill Murray lived the same day over and over again until he became a fluffy effeminate LIEberal instead of his former self-assured manly man. (2) He is pushing the THOROUGHLY DISCREDITED LIEberal LIE that is GLOBAL WARMING by predicting an "early spring" this year!

So please join with me in praying that God will strike down Punxsutawney Phil before he can make a mockery of the Lord ever again!

The movie "Groundhog Day" is banned in Freehold on grounds that it promotes the occult and false religions. As you mentioned, Bill Murray's character becomes a bleeding-heart softie liberal (and that's supposed to be the point of the story). Furthermore, him having to live the same day over and over again (and not even escaping through death) is clearly Hollywood's way of trying to push Buddhist and Hindoo beliefs of reincarnation on the public. Why doesn't the movie teach that Salvation through Jesus Christ, and Jesus Christ alone, is the path to redemption?

If I made that movie here is how it would go: Bill Murray goes to Punxsatawney. He wakes up the next day and it's Groundhog Day again. He is depressed. He then realizes what he needs is Jesus in his life, so he goes around town preaching the Gospel and telling the gay waiter in the restaurant that he's going to Hell. He makes a passionate speech to the townsfolk warning them that consulting a groundhog for prophecy is against God's commandments. Everyone in town drops to their knees and accepts Jesus Christ into their hearts. Bill Murray wakes up and it's a new day.

Now that would be a much better movie, wouldn't it?

It does sound like a wonderful film! The only thing I would change? Instead of Bill Murray, it should star the greatest actor around - Kirk Cameron! Mr. Cameron is THRICE the funnyman Murray could ever HOPE to be!

That movie is absolute horror. Bill Gay Murray claims to be like God in that movie because He is all knowing and cannot die. I am sure he will relive his first day in Hell over and over again for all eternity.
