Maria I just wanted to pass on my best wishes on your test. I don't like people from Spain too much but you have shown me that even ex-Jehovah Witness types from Espana can be somewhat decent.

If your oral skills are anywhere close to your written skills I am sure you will be just fine.

I agree I think also what have big breaths will be important for this. Is important to breath well so that I'm not swallow words and stuffs so I'm gonna have to be calm and relaxy and big breaths - cos this tomorrow is gonna be D-Day the oral I'm doing.

And THEEEEEEEN on Saturday I got the writy part whit reading and essay and listening so it will be ANOTHER D-Day! Thursday and the saturday - I suppose you can say I got DOUBLE-D Day..! Oh well. Big breaths....and pray at Jesus!

Dear Mari, I have done many orals, don't be nervous, don't care about who you are doing the oral with, just think about someone you feel more comfterble with, that will make you so much better and enjoy what you are doing. Also, remeber to take a deep breath, swallow, look into his eyes and just do it properly, it should be hard, otherwise why should one bother to do the oral?
As I said I have done many orals, for teachers and pastors, and they have always been happy with me, I am sure Julio will be happy with your oral to!

Just start slowly and gently. If you start too fast your oral might feel a bit raw.
Also remember your eye contact. Nothing feels better to your partner than you really concentrating on the oral and what responses the man gives you.

It may seem like a lot to take on Maria. I know. But remember, given persistence and a bit of work, you can have an amazing oral experience regardless of the partner.

Know that your partner is as nervous as you. If you work together, you can come to a great finish. If you are too nervous, you may finish too soon and mix all your words up. Just relax and let it come naturally. It will all be very fluid.

The more you overthink this the harder it gets. And while taking on hard things is commendable, there is no need to make it any harder than it already is.

The more you think in English, the easier it is to speak it. It is how I speak Spanish. I do not translate into Spanish from English, I think in Spanish. I remember my first Spanish oral. My teacher loved it. She was so pleased with how skilled I was with my mouth. She knew my hand work (written) was amazing, but when she saw what I could do with my mouth, she said that I was born to speak in all tongues. I have loved languages ever since.

You need to put your hellbound slut of a sister to the back of your mind; you have a job to do. You need to be very friendly with Julio to make him feel good. If he feels good, you feel good, and you pass your exam. Even if you have a bitter taste in your mouth about your sisters affair with him, you need to keep looking him in the eyes, keep smiling and be confident.

If this fails then who cares? As a woman you don't need to get a job anyway, as long as your English reading is OK then you can read the Bible, get to Heaven, everyones a winner.

Except for your family and Julio, who will all perish.

But NOWWW I'm a bit ANGRY

Cos I finded out I'm doing oral on thursday and my partner in exam is '[COLOR="rgb(255, 0, 255)"]boyfriend of the moment[/COLOR]' (1 of 3 or 4) of my harlot cousin Macarena!!

I cannot beliebe this!? Is this a test God!? Why! Why me!? Why, from all the persons in Alicante must be Julio doing oral whit me?! I knew he was in a academy of english but I never have no idea he was gonna do this exam.

Can't this harlot cousin of me stay out my life or what!?
I'm no gonna be able concentrating on oral knowing Macarena is gonna know how bad I did it!

Maybe you should try it first with some other people, like practice or something. Head to the streets and ask some tourist if you can practice your oral with them. They'll no english better than the other mexicans that live in your town so they'll be the best way to get a head.

Even if your instructor says you're talking is fascinating, I still think you should bone up on your oral skills, so it wont be too hard, when it comes.

Pretty good advice brother. However, the problem with Alicante is that it's full of Brits, and particularly the lower end of the social scale (i.e. Lager Louts, Poor people on Ryanair flights, Cockneys, Scouse gits etc) so the actual standard of the oral Mari might get is pretty unhygienic to say the least. Rather hazardous oral and comprehension would be difficult no matter how much she uses her head.

Mari, I recommend you try chatting in English with your sisters Montse and Lola whose English is rather better than yours from what you told me. Make sure the chat is Bible based and any unGodliness that might have crept in otherwise will not do so.

In any case, use your mouth more usefully and pray beforehand. If your partner in the oral is male, then let him take the lead. Unless of course, he's a heathen, in which case just do your usual if things get sticky.

Trust me. It'll come to you.
