In November came the episode of congestive heart failure. I prayed, and I took her to the vet, who put her on high doses of a diuretic for two days, and then a regimen of heart medications. By this month, her enlarged heart had reduced to normal size, thanks to the intervention of Jesus!

Late last week, she got hold of some bad meat. It made her sick -- very sick. She refused to eat or drink. I prayed that Jesus would help her again and He did! The vet diagnosed an intestinal bacterial infection and provided antibiotics (Clavamox, nasty stuff). On Saturday, I forced the pills (with peanut butter) down her throat and also forced her to drink water by squirting it in her mouth. Sunday, she was drinking, but not eating. Same yesterday, when I started forcing her to eat by forcing balls of chicken, cheese, and canned pumpkin into the back of her throat and holding her mouth closed until she swallowed. I also started her on a prescription appetite enhancer from the vet yesterday.

She really didn't like the forced-feeding scenario. But she only drew blood once . . .

Finally, just after I forced some of this food down her throat at lunchtime today, she started sniffing around as I was cooking up a pound of ground turkey (for making of more doggie meatballs). She ate turkey and rice, all by herself, from a bowl! Only about half a cup total, but don't want her to overdo and toss it back up.

Praise Jesus for getting her through this horrible illness! Even the vet wasn't sure if she'd make it. She dropped from 89 to 83 pounds in under a week, poor thing.

Now, if anyone doubts the power of prayer, or that the Lord answers prayers, I can show you x-rays of my dog's chest showing just how much God has helped her!

I'll be doing a children's sermon this Sunday, about the great Christmas present God gave me! The kids will be thrilled to learn of the power of prayer.

Join me in praising Jesus for this miracle!
That's nice to know!! Most dogs aren't lucky enough to have an owner who prays to God instead of just believing the medicine will work on it's own without intervention.

    Exodus 21:28
If an ox gore a man or a woman, that they die: then the ox shall be surely stoned, and his flesh shall not be eaten; but the owner of the ox shall be quit.

(note that God also forbids you to eat her after you stoned her).

I would advice you to throw at least a few rocks against her head, and if she still survives, God must have wanted her to live and intervened like with the offering of Isaac (Genesis 22).
Exodus is not in Genesis, she's not an ox, she doesn't have horns, she didn't gore me, and I didn't die.

Yet more evidence to add to the case proving that there is a God, and Jesus Christ is His Son.

The fact that Reverend Rodimer's doctor's antibiotics were effective is PROOF of the Resurrection of Jesus, and His Ascension. How else would the effectiveness of antibiotics to heal a DYING DOG be possible?

When bad things happen to bad people, and good things happen to good people, that is proof that Christianity dominates over other religions, because Christianity is the only religion that worships Jesus as God, without intermediary. When bad things happen to good people and vice-versa, that is proof of Satan, which is proof of God.

Take that, atheists! Does it burn? It will.

Praise God! Your faith is obviously strong. Your dog is very lucky to have a man of God in her life.

My neighbor - an avowed atheist - had a dog who had been perfectly healthy for 18 years suddenly fall ill and die. He was too stupid to admit that he could have saved the poor creature if he had only accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior and gained access to the power of Christian prayer. Sad.

But I prayed to Jesus, not to a picture of a dead person. Or would they make my dog a saint?

    She'd probably like that.

Until they had her stuffed and carted her around the country for the 'faithful' to touch. That's just gross, fondling corpses.
