Such a beautifully profound chunk of wisdom that touched my soul.
Thank you for that brother Pim.

This is great news. I rejoice along with the angels over this lost sheep returning to the fold.

    Luke 15:10
Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.

Since he is now a Christian, he is incapable of committing any further sin. Why exactly is he still in prison? Does Big Government think it knows better than gentle Jesus whether this fine Christian man should be forgiven of his past transgressions?

What totally escapes me is these parents that raise these whores. No doubt the mother paraded the little trollop totally buck naked time and time again in front of the man, who is mere flesh and blood. In a moment of self doubt and weakness (we hae all had those moments, can I have a "Praise Jesus!!!) he succumed to the hot beath of tyhe devil. I know God can forgive him.
After all, it was just a female and certainly one that had not given herself to Jesus so she was destined for Hell anyway. Must Steve go to for the sins of the girl? Where is the justice in that?

I will not only pray for him, I will also campaign to have him released and cleared of all charges so that he can join us in Freehold, Iowa. If God forgives him (which He did in the moment that Brother Steven repented), then why shouldn't the government forgive him as well? Yet another example of government tyranny!

Yes, I'll pray for him. Every saved soul for Jesus is worth a hundred prayers.

I'm ready to meet and greet him in Heaven. He has repented and if that's good enough for God...

What I want to know is whether the child deliberately exposed herself to place a stumbling block before an innocent Christian man. Feminists always want to empower women. Well they can start by realizing the child's responsibility in the perpetration of this crime.

With all the liberals insisting that it is possible to bring about viable pregnancy through acts of rape, I don't see how they can turn around and demonize the act with extra-Biblical arguments in their next breath.

Children are so selfish and ignorant. Yet they feel entitled to humane treatment. Excuse me if I roll my eyes.

Children are to obey their parents in everything with no exceptions, according to the Colossians 3:20. I doubt her mother told her to get raped.

Oh that is such good news! Praise Jesus! He is Merciful indeed!

Well, yes, can you blame Him?

Jesus told us this very thing, in His lovely parable of the workers in the vineyard (Matthew 20:1-16). What a wonderful conclusion to the parable when the owner tells the grumbling complainers,

Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine own? Is thine eye evil, because I am good?
    Matthew 20:15

I do so hope no one comes here and complains about Mr. Smith, a True Christian™ man who simply came to work in the field in the last moment. But the Truth is, Mr. Smith belongs to God, he is, in the words of our LORD, "mine own."

God is good all the time.
All the time, God is good!

Good reminder, Pastor. Speaking of which, I hate to think of that baby being tormented in Hell right now, but if she didn't accept Jesus as her LORD and Redeemer (Romans 10:9), then God's Perfect Justice will prevail (John 3:18).

    Hallelujah indeed!

Please pray for baby rapist Steven Smith.

We have spoken to Steven Smith in the prison. He has turned his life over to Jesus Christ. Though he has been found guilty of raping a 6 month old infant to death, we will get to see him in the afterlife on the right hand of Jesus. Hallelujah!

The Bible tells us that no matter what sin you have committed (except speaking against the Holy Spirit) it will be forgiven of you.

Let us not forget that that criminal on the cross next to Jesus was sent to heaven that very day by confessing that He is Lord.

    Luke 23:39-43

39 And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us.
40 But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?
41 And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss.
42 And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.
43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise.

It's just that easy for some people. Others have to work to be good and need the Bible to tell us not to kill, steal or rape monkeys.

Some of us get to confess at the last minute. It's just the way things go in a faith that is by faith alone.

Ohio Man Who Raped 6-Month-Old Baby to Death Wants Mercy

    Apr. 2, 2013 9:00pm Jason Howerton
COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Condemned killer Steven Smith’s argument for mercy isn’t an easy one. Smith acknowledges he intended to rape his girlfriend’s 6-month-old daughter but says he never intended to kill the baby.
The girl, Autumn Carter, died because Smith was too drunk to realize his assault was killing her, Smith’s attorneys argued in court filings with the Ohio Parole Board, which heard the case Tuesday. And Ohio law is clear, they say: A death sentence requires an intent to kill the victim.
This undated photo released by the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections shows Steven Smith. “The evidence suggests that Autumn’s death was a horrible accident,” Smith’s attorneys, Joseph Wilhelm and Tyson Fleming, said in a written argument prepared for the board.
They continued: “Despite the shocking nature of this crime, Steve’s death sentence should be commuted because genuine doubts exist whether he even committed a capital offense.”
Smith, 46, was never charged with rape, meaning the jury’s only choice was to convict or acquit him of aggravated murder, his attorneys say.
However, rape was included in the indictment against Smith as one of the factors making him eligible for the death penalty. Under Ohio law, an aggravated murder committed in the course of another crime – such as burglary, robbery, arson or the killing of a police officer or child – is an element that can make someone eligible for capital punishment.
