Please Pray for Amanda Berry to Marry Ariel Castro

Dear Friends,

Some of you may have heard the news of Amanda Berry escaping captivity, leading to the arrest of Ariel Castro, for whom she bore a child. Like women often do in these situations, she is playing the rape card, despite the fact that her bearing a child proves this not to even be a case of legitimate rape. All this may play very well in the secular media, who celebrate single mothers, but it will force the child to grow up without a father and stands in direct opposition to the LORD's commandments regarding women in her situation:

Deuteronomy 22:28-29
If a man find a damsel that is a virgin, which is not betrothed, and lay hold on her, and lie with her, and they be found;
Then the man that lay with her shall give unto the damsel's father fifty shekels of silver, and she shall be his wife; because he hath humbled her, he may not put her away all his days.

Until we finally succeed in bringing civil law more into harmony with God's Law, we won't be able to enforce such edicts of the LORD while remaining within the confines of secular law (Hebrews 13:17). But we can lift our voices up in prayer. The unsaved hordes haven't taken that away from us yet...

Please pray for Amanda Berry to marry Ariel Castro and for lenience for Mr. Castro as long as he agrees to pay Ms. Berry's father the Biblical amount* of $474 and take Amanda in Holy Matrimony. Amen.

Could there be a clearer case of someone finding a damsel that is a virgin, which is not betrothed, and laying hold on her, and lying with her, and being found? I really don't think there could be. He owes that woman's father money big time and has to step up to his marital responsibilities by marrying her properly and raising his child.

And the other two as well! If he has humbled them then there is no alternative. I can see why he concealed his actions from an unforgiving atheist-dominated community.

He needs some severe action taking on him for not compensating the fathers of these women, that much is certain, but they should be returned to him and a Pastor should be appointed to have them properly married. I guess the other two could be named concubines if their fathers are in agreement to sell them to him.

Secular law makes such a mess of things when do-gooders interfere and force a man to take biblical law into his own hands.

Catholics have no idea about how to do a women. It's quite easy, you stick it in and you pray to Christ that you get a child. Catholics on the other hand will repeatedly say Christ forgives sex if it leads to pro-creation.

God does not want us to have sex, it is a weakness as proven by many passages. Sex is horrible and we should not have it. We are weak and that is why we fornicate. I pray to God for Forgiveness as I have fornicated but man, nowhere does God says to kidnap them and rap them into submission.

That's right there from God, Himself. They had a duty in the coming generations, even though it was their sisters or mothers they had to service. GLORY!

Sad news, friends. It seems there will be no marriage after all.

Convicted Cleveland kidnapper Ariel Castro was found dead Tuesday inside his cell at the Correction Reception Center in Orient, Ohio, according to corrections officials.

JoEllen Smith of the Ohio Department of Corrections released the following statement.

Inmate Ariel Castro was found hanging in his cell this evening at 9:20 pm at the Correctional Reception Center in Orient. He was housed in protective custody which means he was in a cell by himself and rounds are required every 30 minutes at staggered intervals. Upon finding inmate Castro, prison medical staff began performing life saving measures. Shortly after he was transported to OSUMC where he was pronounced dead at 10:52 pm. A thorough review of this incident is underway and more information can be provided as it becomes available pending the status of the investigation.

Castro was in protective custody, which was typical for high-profile inmates, but was not on suicide watch, Smith said.
The 52-year-old pleaded guilty to 937 counts, including murder and kidnapping in the abductions of Amanda Berry, Michelle Knight and Gina DeJesus, in a deal with prosecutors that spared him the death penalty.

He was sentenced instead to life in prison plus 1,000 years.
The women, each missing for a decade or more, were freed in May after neighbors heard Berry’s cries for help and came to her aid.
She immediately called 911.

“Help me, I am Amanda Berry,” she said.

“I’ve been kidnapped, and I’ve been missing for 10 years. And I’m here, I’m free now.”

Even more tragic, there is no indication that Ariel Castro accepted Jesus into his heart before dying. So unlike Jeffery Dahmer, it appears he won't be joining us in Heaven after all.

It is sad, and made worse by the fact that in ending his own life he completed the '"life" part of his sentence and only had 1,000 years to go.
