Re: Pray that Parents of Disabled Children Find Jesus

We were all enjoying our moons over my hammy and grand slams when a man pushed a wheelchair by us, followed by a woman dressed as some sort of elvish harlot. The chair contained a man of about 25, his mouth stuck open, drool profusely emanating from it, arms and legs twisted with some sort of palsy. We all knew this was no time for selfishness, so Father tapped the young man's parent on the shoulder and asked if he could pray for his healing. This offer was surprisingly declined. Mother asked what sins the parents had committed that caused the Lord to punish them in such a fashion. I could not suppress a gasp (I realize how unladylike this was) when the mother used a profanity toward my sweet mother, telling her to keep her hypocrisy to herself and saying that people like my mother and father should be put away in an asylum for their archaic beliefs. I could react in hatred, but instead I pray that parents of such deformed children will find our Lord as Savior, that we may all sing in the heavenly choir side by side. Please join me in this prayer. Drool shall never stain the streets of gold.
That's awful, just awful. Then again, what else would you expect from people who probably are disgusting atheists - since that boy's retardation was probably caused by his parents' iniquity (Deuteronomy 5:9).

    Dear Merciful God,

As You tell us in Leviticus 21:18-21, You despise the gimpy, shuffling crippleds and gibbering, drooling retardeds. So do we, Your faithful servants! In Your holy name we pray that the parents of these unfortunate creatures let You into their hearts, repent for the sins they surely committed against You, and that You find their penance satisfying so that You might consider healing their offensive offspring.

After all, there is no "handicapped-accessible parking" in Heaven.

    AMEN!!
