You are admittedly well-spoken for an unbeliever but you put surprisingly much (no pun intended) emphasis on these mundane skirmishes that caused some temporary pain, sorrow or suffering. All the things you listed were transient. They were unimportant. The transient and the Eternal are not the same. What if a Godless world had had a utopian past with early-onset science etc.? All these people would be still be dead without hope. But with God they had the chance to live forever in Christ! Instead of fusion power an ever-lasting fusion with Jesus!

I have changed my opinion. I think rape is never a good thing. It is always preferable for the woman to hold still.

Don't misinterpret this to mean I don't love babies as much as the next person. Rape babies are some of the most beautiful children in existence. But hopefully they don't take after their mothers. Childbearing is a duty and women who resist are just working really hard at not working.
