I confess I don't know that much about your wretched religion, however I know enough to know that it also teaches humility.
You are just as sinful as your wife, as such a little modesty may go a long way. You're not old fashioned, you're just another caveman whose ideals still linger in a stagnant and repulsive deity which you blindly follow, much like these wife-beating scum.

Can you give us an update on what you did? I am in a similiar situation and a brother sent me here. I caught my wife <vile perverted, sinful act deleted> I spared the dog because it has no soul but I let loose on the women. How long do I need to continue the beatings? I don't want to have to get rid of the dog but I'm afraid she'll do it again.
