Pastor Zeke was not racist in any way, he was simply making a historically accurate comment.

Do you accept the historical fact that blacks have been enslaved in the Americas from the 1500s to mid 1800's (350 or so years)?

Do you accept the historical fact that they were beaten by their masters during this time period?

Do you accept the historical fact that since the Emancipation Proclamation of 1865 up until the 1960's, they still experienced regular beatings and lynchings?

If you answered Yes to all 3 questions, and if you didn't you are in dire need of an education, then you will see that Pastor Zeke simply saying that her kind "is used to beatings" is perfectly consistent with what history tells us. No racism at all...only the made-up version you see fit.

The Bible says men rule over their wives as Christ rules over the church. If a member of the church is disobedient, God punishes that person by sending them to hell. Ergo, a man should punish his wife if she is disobedient.

Furthermore, it says the man and woman become as one flesh. The Bible says that if your hand or eye causes you to sin, to cut them off. So if your wife, who is part of your body, sins, shouldn't you do something about that? Or else you'll both end up in hell because of it.
