Missy Deloge, it has come to my notice that you have some difficulty actually reading what is written in The Bible. However, do not despair, The Lord has seen fit to help those less fortunate than most by inspiring the author of “The Brick Testament” to create pictures with minimum writing. Here we see one example of Jesus ensuring that people hate their family. There are plenty of others for you to look at and learn.

Well do you feel less inadequate when you beat someone who can't fight back because a 2000 year old book told you to?

Old Song, and if you read and listen to the song, the person who is doing the beating is on drug and hopped up on only God knows what. Before I was Saved and on the track that I'm on, I used to love that band, I used to like The Almost too. They aren't real Christian bands, so get your facts straight.

My wife as been smacked a fair few times in the last couple weeks we've been married, and she's deserved every one of them.

That is the line between discipline and abuse that most folks just don't understand. You said she deserved every one of them. That makes it discipline and I say Praise God that a man will stand up and do what is right and proper within his household. This gives women limits and boundaries and helps them feel safe and secure knowing they are in their proper place.

Bless you brother Jake. It's not easy being a man sometimes but you inspire me into believing there is hope for other good family men.
