For the first time in many, many years, in fact, the first time since the "Left Behind" movies (they're awesome) came out God's Closet, I was going to visit a cinema to see a new rousing moving picture called Love, Simon. For me, it was obvious that it would be about our own Beloved Apostle Simon Peter.
Matthew 16:16-18
And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona[*]: for flesh and blood hath not revealed [it] unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
I was even preparing to purchase some pop corn with saturated fats called "butter" and a soda. However, to much dismay this film was after all not about Peter the Apostle guarding the Pearly Gates of Heaven (Revelation 21:21) and dismissing all the sinners into the Bottomless Pit (Revelation 9:1) as I had wished.
Instead, It is a film about sodomites. That might be a good thing: It could show them in the Bottomless Pit (Revelation 20:3) suffering and receiving enemas of molten tungsten. However, it is a "rom-com" about a young boy trying to find a sodomite partner to fornicate with. He does this with e-mails. There's apparently going to be boozin' and snoggin' and public schools. Of course I am not going to see this film. Now, you are all probably thinking that this is because of the positive attitude that this film shows towards homosexuality. You're wrong. The advertisements of this film helped me realize that sodomy is just a symptom. This film has an even deeper flaw that permeates our whole society apart from us True Christians™! Let us look at the posters of this thespian travesty!
Everyone deserves a great love story.
??????
THIS is what is wrong with people! THIS is the problem that the True Christian™ community is facing.
"Everyone deserves a great love story". Really??? I mean, REALLY????
No-one deserves a great love story. Nobody! Not the homosexuals, nor the straight, nor men, women or children. No-one! The people, the common sinners, deserve to be thrown into the Bottomless Pit for eternal torture (Revelation 20:1). Everyone deserves a miserable life (Luke 14:26). Everyone deserves only a spouse that is disgusting and hateful and children that are loathsome. And we don't deserve even that, because it is too good for us, as we are totally utterly corrupted people.
Unless we choose Jesus!
Is this film about choosing Jesus? As it turns out, it isn't! It is about "accepting yourself as you are" and accepting others as they are". Tears over tolerance. What does Jesus have to say?
Psalms 14:1
(To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.) The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.
Unless you believe in God in the correct manner, you are lost! The correct manner is the True Christian™ Way. That is the ONLY WAY. We deserve something! Because Jesus has Redeemed us, we now deserve a place in Heaven in eternal bliss. Even our marriages can turn out tolerable once we choose Jesus. If they don't, we can always find comfort in Death and Infinite Joy in the afterlife.
As we can see, this movie makes people feel GOOD! That is preposterous. Only Jesus has the right to make people feel good. People need to feel bad. Otherwise they won't realize that they're lost without Him. It is not anymore a question of sodomy. It is a problem with "feeling good" and "deserving".
You deserve nothing. Not even torture for eternity but you'll get that. You don't deserve to feel good. You may only feel good and superior after you will have been reborn in Christ, as we have. Glory to Jesus. Don't go and see this film. Instead, realize how disgusting you are (unless you're one of us) and REPENT!
Feeling good is BAD!
Yours in Christ,
Elmer
