Shameless: Explicit TV full of shameless sinners

It seems like every band or TV show is sinful these days. I have come across this show called "Shameless", which is shown on the channel Showtime and has been on the air since 2011. I watched a single episode of it, unaware of what it was about. Needless to say, I was shocked and disgusted. The show focuses on a family of 7 (No mother, she left and is a dyke, also a slut.) 6 kids, and one alcoholic God-hating father. Let me guide you through the cast of characters.Debbie- 10 year old girl. Curses, is rude to people, etc. Still seems to be the most innocent of the group, besides the 1 year old Mulatto, Liam.

Carl- Violent liar. Maybe 9, and causes destruction through the house.

Frank- The father. Hates God so much he pretends he does not exist, alcoholic, does not care about family at all.

Fiona- Eldest child of Frank. She is 21, and seems to act as the "Mother" of all her other siblings, but she is also a horrible whore, and has the most sex scenes out of all of them.

Ian- A homer, thief, and liar. Has sex with his Male, arab, married boss inside the store he works. Steals a car. Only 15. Smoker.

Lip- Smokes, has premarital sex with a whore named Karen, steals, lies, etc. Maybe 16 or 17.

There is a lot of nudity, both male and female. Characters smoke and drink to the point of excess. They do cocaine, weed, etc etc. I don't understand why a show this disgusting could ever go on air.

Thanks for the heads up, dear, though I myself never watch TV. Why would I risk exposing myself to such filth? I was never allowed to watch anything ever, and if I did, I'd likely have to pluck my eyes out.

Matthew 5:29 And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.

Given that the name of the program is "Shameless", I am not certain as to why you were surprised by its contents.

Some weeks ago there was a show called, "Living Biblically". That was a surprise, because the person trying to "live Biblically" didn't condemn homos and whores. He just tried to be "nicer".

It was kind of wretched, actually. And I had such high hopes that people would see the true sacrifice and challenge of living according to God's Holy Word.

I honestly thought it was about someone who was "shamelessly" Christian or something along the lines.

Nope. Such a person would be "Unashamed." Unlike the depraved tuna whose misbehaviors have not gone unnoticed.

Corruption, sin, and depravity offered up by the entertainment moguls from Hellywood - no surprise, and yet somehow the rest of us Christians are a "Basket of deplorables". It's no wonder Hillary lost and Trump won.

Being a politician, I'm always looking for a political angle to things. Here we have a Satan inspired TV show. And, we have a Christian President.

Let's go back 20 years and find the time when the Republican party started it ascent to power. It happened when Vice President Dan Quayle criticized the real TV character Murphy Brown. Murphy Brown became pregnant and was not married. Quayle, an intellectual powerhouse, knew this was political gold.

I think President Trump could do the same right now with Shameless. He could say his moral values do not allow viewing this show and urge others not to either. The show would end overnight and the President would run unopposed next time.

You just can't make this stuff up Mayor - "Murphy Brown" is set to come back this fall with Satan up to his old tricks again. Will the old "Murphy Brown" be depicted as an aging and emaciated character depleted by a lifetime of fornication and the wages of sin as an example to a new generation?

More than likely the "new" Murphy Brown comes out of the closet as a transgender or lezbean bull dyke with a tallywhacker strap-on endlessly whining about the "patriarchy", the "glass ceiling", and "white privilege".

Murphy Brown Is Coming Back to Television
Candice Bergen is returning to CBS for a 13-episode revival of the sitcom.
                By Sam Dangremond - May 16, 2018

Murphy Brown is returning to television this fall on CBS, and we're learning more about the substance of 13-episode revival of the series.

On Wednesday morning, network executives told the Hollywood Reporter that the "returning characters, who anchored news magazine FYI in the original, now have a morning cable news show called Murphy in the Morning." Candice Bergen will reprise her role as a dogged investigative journalist and TV anchor, and her character's son (played by Jake McDorman) will star on a rival morning show.

"When asked if it was a Fox & Friends/Morning Joe situation, CBS Entertainment president Kelly Kahl agreed that it was a good comparison," the publication reported.

The show will air on Thursdays this fall at 9:30 p.m., and last month the cast was already getting into the Murphy Brown spirit. On April 6, Bergen posted a photo to Instagram featuring herself, cast members Faith Ford, Joe Regalbuto, Grant Shaud, Nik Dodani, and returning writer and executive producer Diane English, as Entertainment Weekly first reported.

                . . . .

Murphy Brown tackled political issues of its day, and then-Vice President Dan Quayle referenced the show in a speech during the 1992 presidential campaign. In its 30th anniversary year, it will return "to a much-changed media landscape, where the characters will play in a world of cable news, social media, 'fake news,' and a different political and cultural climate," USA Today reports.

                . . . .

Sad how much sin is coming back to TV these days, but I'm sure that with enough demands to Mr. Trump, it can come off the air for good! Maybe also take down all the illegal links for the show too.

Yes, indeed. If Mr. Trump, with the help of the God's Only Party and the right-thinking members of the Supreme Court, could ban offensive entertainment, liberal-slanted news and, further, control all technologically assisted communication in this country, then we would have the truly Christian, morally upright society with the kind of religious freedom intended by those who first came to our shores.

Honestly, there are times when it seems that the First Amendment and its currently excessively expanded interpretation is not really in the best interests of our country. Isn't there something that could be done about it? I understand that the Constitution is a highly honored document, but is it truly so sacred that it cannot be adjusted to meet our current needs as a people?

Why can't we do something about all the fanatics who want to re-read our Founding Father's writings into some twisted manifesto that adheres to their ideas about what constitutes the True American™ ideal?

TV has been white shaming good Christians since the 1960s. It did have some good moments in the 1950s when westerns reminded us of the good old days when America was great and white men put the red savages in their place.

Do you ever wish you could go back to the 50s, when segregation still was in place, and sodomy was illegal?
