Yes, while that may be true, it doesn't mean Looney Toons caused them to do what they did.

My many children have never so much as heard of Bugs Bunny and they're responsible, respectful True Christians™. They would never hurt another True Christian™. In fact, I don't believe I've known one True Christian™ who has watched a Looney Tune except for educational purposes.

I'm not saying that the Bible isn't meant to be taken seriously, not at all. My intentions aren't to attack the Bible, I'm just saying that this cartoon is just that. A humorous cartoon that was originally created to lift spirits and improve resolve during the 40's and 50's. A cartoon shouldn't be taken too seriously.
Also, when has Looney Toons ever caused a child to incite wanton, lustful, debauched behavior? I've never heard of that happening from a cartoon

Um, what? How does that have anything to do with Looney Toons? A Skunk and Cat being in love would never make any sane human being believe that they could "forcibly sodomize and murder all of my friends and burn down my parents house."

I know that when I watched this... O so humorous... () cartoon I got a deep desire to do unspeakable things to that cat. Her shining fur, her "don't touch me" attitude, yet so soft and smooth urged me to do... things better left unsaid.

If I didn't have my personal KJV bible at hand at that time, who knows what I might have done! I mean, if I stopped following the bible to go to my father's stables and "cosy up" to a horse, why wouldn't I start raping and killing people?
That's what I never understand about atheists. They always say they have morals and such, while I know for a fact that I would have slaughtered three annoying people in my life already if I didn't believe I would burn in Hell for eternity when I did. What's to stop me when I lose my faith?

Next, how does Speedy Gonzales encourage children to take drugs? He's a comedically "speedy" mouse, as most mice are quite jittery. Also, "¡Ándale! ¡Ándale! ¡Arriba! ¡Arriba!" is not reciting a recipe for making drugs, he's actually saying "Get up! Get up! Let's go! Let's go!" but in spanish, which reinforces the fact that he is "Speedy".

Is a still frame taken from one of the most critically acclaimed Looney Toons shorts, "What's Oprah, Doc". It is hailed as being the greatest cartoon short of all time, and the still frame is taken from a dance number in the short that is used quite a lot in Oprah, where one dancer takes the hips of another and pretends to "bounce" them across the stage. You're card stacking here, as you are only showing the still frame where it looks like their doing something risque. I believe you're looking WAY to far into this. Just enjoy the shorts, nothing bad was intended in them.

The "dance number" you are referring to is from the ballet Bacchanal (Venusberg) music from Richard Wagner's opera "Tannhäuser" and is not used "quite a lot". To anyone cultured, we all know what a "Bacchanal" is – a drunken orgy of sexual promiscuity.

I could go on – like your pretend innocence about the supposed noun "Pork", which in modern argot has become a verb – to fornicate. Do you not believe there is "something more" to our life? That this "something more" can be described in the Holy Bible? If you think the nakedness of animals is life is preverse, then shouldn't we put pants on every animal? Yet we don't, so tell me why? If it's bad in an animated cartoon short not meant to be taken seriously, then why is it not bad in real life?

I wrote my representative about this once.

I urged him to draft a bill that would require pet owners to clothe their animals, so that we and our children could be spared seeing the uncircumcised doggy penises and hairy poodle cooters of countless, GODless beasts of satan.

He never responded to my letter, or my phone calls, and he never got another of my votes after that.

That is how seriously we take morality.
