  • "A Gay in a Manger" Christmas Sweater Pulled from Stores

With sin in our society spreading like a wildfire, we can thank Jesus for our occasional victories. Recently, a godless manufacturer and marketer of clothing designed a message "A Gay in a Manager." The message was made more blasphemous by a rendering of a manager scene with an aura of gay rainbow over it. Christians let a retail chain know their anger. The company pulled all the shirts off its shelves. Hallelujah.

Amazon still sells such terrible shirts so it is next.

Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.

So revolting. Where do they get these "designer" ideas? In order to know there was a manger, they'd need to read The Bible.
    .
Luke 2:7 And she¹ brought forth her firstborn son² and wrapped him in swaddling clothes and laid him in a manger because there was no room for them in the inn.
    1. Mary
    2. Jesus

I've included footnotes just in case. It was Jesus in the manger, not Rudolph³ – to be honest though I doubt anyone wearing that sweater knows what a manger is. I once slept in a bath, not the most comfortable (there was no straw) but several rungs up from a manger I suspect. Elsewhere in The Bible we can read about God's take on the gays: seasonal sweaters are not mentioned. Other lifestyle choices are condemned too, such as tree worship and hanging out in groves. Whatever goes on there is very offensive to God, He explains. Short sleeves seem inappropriate for mid-winter outings: perhaps it's aimed at the Rio de Janeiro set?

    3. Saint Rudolph of Gubbio was the noted monk (and a disciple of Saint Peter Damian, whoever he was) who was made Bishop of Gubbio. Dating from 1066, he is known as Blessed Rudolph of Gubbio: a slave of the immaculate heart[sic] of Mary.
