He also specified who Christians are to consider as their neighbour. It's not everyone. Read more here: Bible Answers: Who are our neighbors? Who are our brothers and sisters? Who are we to love?

Hi, I made an account so I could join the discussion.
I wanted to be able to forgive all of you because I understand how easy it is to become confused about how to be a good Christian. I may not have as much knowledge as you about the message of the Bible but I do believe I have been blessed by God. He has sent me many messages in my life to affirm this belief. I am also asexual. I thought for a long time that it was just my inexperience that made me so uninterested in romance but I understand now that is not true. I don't believe any Christian here would intentionally wish to hurt someone but I must explain that is exactly what you are doing. You may disagree that God loves everyone and I understand why you believe that but I implore you to show some compassion. Jesus encouraged us to love our neighbour.
We are all born equal it just happens to be I was born without sexual desire, a distinctly human trait. Another distinctly human trait is to persecute those who are different.

Anyway my point is I accept your fear of asexual's and I would never judge you nor hate you for an opinion no matter how I disagree because you are my equals. If anyone feels that I am perverse I will allow them to feel that way. The only approval of my life that I need is God's and that is something I cherish dearly.

And if you're here to flame us, better take a look at THIS before making an even bigger ass out of yourself.

did you read the original post? I felt that explained it very well. I'm a little confused, though, as to how you could be a devoted christian who disobeys the bible? If you are a woman, remember 1 Timothy 2:15. If you asexual, unless you are lucky enough to be raped, you won't bear children, and then, go to hell. Genesis 1:28 applies to both men and women: we are to 'be fruitful and multiply'. How could asexuals do that?

Personally, I think that people who pretend to be asexual are selfish. They use it as an excuse to disobey God, and not create any more soldiers for Christ. It's a bad excuse as it is, though. God tells us to reproduce, in gen 1:28, he tells us that we should be fruitful and multiply, not that we should have sex purely for enjoyment. So it shouldn't matter whether or not you enjoy sex, you should do as God commands.

God would not make something like sex for His faithful to avoid save for reproduction only to turn around and make some people immune to it. I'm not buying that this even exists. Either the person is gay, or lazy, or...

It has also been observed that fully 50% of these alleged asexuals are schizophrenic (see possessed), leaving the other 50% as undiagnosed schizo-possessioids. A third theory then, and one that makes more sense, is that these schizo-possesso-sexuals have a demon infestation that is preventing them from engaging in normal marital affairs and reproduction. I am not aware that a vicar is a "good catch" unless whatever house the church provided was one of these, especially given the promise of earthly scarifices—paramount being the financial sacrifice—which although not actually made by his wife must nevertheless affect her.

Nevertheless somehow she must struggle on. Vicars do not take a vow of chastity, but with Anglican ordination of women well-and-truly on the cards it must be ever on her mind that Mr Vicar might short-circuit across to the Romish heretics and what happens to her then?

Well, what happens is that ex–C.of.E vicars are permitted to remain as married catholic priests, but surely if the wretch can "get a call" to revert to catholicism at any moment, Mrs Vicar must acutely be aware, the bells could start ringing in his head for a vow of chastity? And then where would she be? Catholic priests do not get vicarages.

And what about her ol’ man locked in the boxroom with curtains drawn during holidays and the hoi polloi prowling around in her kitcken? No wonder she zooms straight down to the nearest hippie art festival (where "asexuals" would be extremely thin on the ground from what I've heard) just to keep her options open!

Now I am not suggesting that vicars ignore God's commandment to be fruitful and multiply. But their obsessional behaviours in matters of dress and warbling psalms from overly ornate pulpits surely suggest a gateway to this particular denial which could flow on from all the others quite easily. And we have seem the nonsense posted in this thread willy nilly, the God denial, ignorance of Scripture, citing humanist claptrap much as homosexuals do.

Not everyone develops at the same rate. Satan makes sure that his propaganda is plastered over everything in a style to exaggerate every carnal appetite. The consequence is clear. People who develop more slowly see such muck and find it of little interest.
