I am humbled by your acceptance of me into this forum and will endeavor to demonstrate my worthiness to be among God-fearing Christians such as yourselves. I only recently discovered Landover Baptist Church, hearing about it during a law conference I attended recently in the hellish town of Iowa City, Iowa where liberalism has infected every last corner of the town and its entire afflicted population. A close confidant of the highest esteem (with whom I had the good fortune to share company during this conference) intimated that not all of Iowa is given to debauchery and apostasy, that there is a place in Iowa where people actually do understand and welcome Jesus Christ into their hearts and minds. I have not yet had - but would certainly welcome - the opportunity to visit your congregation. My life in Chicago has been a difficult one, and not without continual challenges presented by those not yet in possession of the Holy Spirit; the norm for this cesspool of a city. Jesus is here though, I discovered long ago as a law student, fighting for the rights of Christians, and He recruited me Himself to engage the forces of evil in a constant struggle against our would-be oppressors. In Chicago, we Christians are - as you know - now a "minority," and the never-ending battle for our rights is now in my hands. You'll notice - so I'll address it preemptively - my unfortunate resemblance to an ancestor of mine whose legacy I loathe. Yes, he was a registered Republican, but a sorry excuse for one by today's Godly standards. At any rate, I hope I can be of service and contribute something worthwhile to your sacred mission. May Jesus Christ guide my every thought and action in His name.
    Dear Mr. Esquire:

May I recommend spacing and paragraph breaks?

And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? ... Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord." I am living my life to serve those whose devotion to Jesus is under daily attack. Honestly, this is my favorite verse from the only Book that matters; my KJV.
Excellent choice! Now you understand why Freehold is a gated community with limited outsider access - we really try to avoid rubbing elbows with those who are destined to go to . I do look forward to reading more of your posts. Feel free to lurk around. There are no penalties for reviving oldie-but-goodie threads.

Re: Good morning, and thank you.

One post and already I've been remiss in neglecting to tell you where I attend daily worship. Kenilworth Union Church is my go-to congregation most days (all Sundays) and my interactions with the missionaries of this congregation have - in many ways - long been a driving force in my own legal and vocational ministry. I'm often reminded when meeting new people of my own ilk of Paul's letter to the Corianthians (2 Cor. 6:14-17) when he said, "Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? ... Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord." About Boystown, I have not documented any hours with the organization - or on any of its properties - as they've never reached out me in my professional capacity with any credible need for my services as an attorney. They are a terrific organization and I support them generously in their ministry with proceeds from my own.

Hello dear and to the forum!

You have convinced me that you are indeed a lawyer - you said a lot of words without actually saying anything important. Please do share with us, which church you go to? What your favorite Bible verse is? How did you find Jesus?

Please be assured that your application to join our congregation will be considered only after a thorough background search. Our secretary has been missing for a while, so we do have a little bit of a backlog.

    Mr. Darrow,

A reserved welcome to our friendly space on the cyber web. I have a special place in my heart for those who practice the legal arts. Unfortunately my good friend who was a fine attorney even though he was a joo met an untimely death in New Guinea some time ago. You would have liked him sometimes.

I have ministered to men in your Boystown area several times and managed to escape unshot by the thugs so prevalent in ungodly Chicago. Do you frequent the establishments of Boystown sir?

Have you a good friend to share life with? What is his name?

I pray that you find much Christian fellowship here. I assure you the teaching and wisdom of the good people of Landover is Bible based and impeccable.
