    Howdy Doody, life is like a box of Jesus!

    You just never know when He's gonna pop and out say, Hallelujah!

    Hi all, I'm Humble. My friends call me Honest Humbler. I teach Moralogy at Birmingham Baptist Institute, teaching America's future right from wrong. You can love Jesus with all your heart and walk in Righteousness, it's never a license to sin. One Jesus gets inside you, touches you, He ain't leaving and he wants you to be a good girl and a good boy (and God forbid none of that weird They/Them, It/X). You bet, the future's looking bright and the Gen Z and Gen Alpha kids are a really taking to Jesus like a hummingbird to honeysuckle. I work with role models like Millicent Sedra to set a moral example, and mold Christ's warriors to expand our beautiful nation.

    I particularly enjoy the passages of Matthew 4, Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.

    2 And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred.

    3 And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.

    4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

    No-sir-ree man cannot live by bread alone. Afterall, what kind of breakfast is pieces of toast without the bacon, marmalade, fried eggs and a slice of tomato?

    I tell my kids, live by EVERY word, yes sir, not just the fun bits, not just the tasty, easy to digest passages, but E-v-eryy WORD! Amen!

    Well I'll be damned. This church is deader than a tumbleweed blowing 'cross my Mammie's grave.

    So I thought of a old soothing spiritual to liven things up.

    He 'rose, He 'rose, He 'rose from the dead;
    He 'rose, He 'rose, He 'rose from the dead;
    He 'rose, He 'rose, He 'rose from the dead,
    and the Lord shall bear my spirit home.

    1 They crucified my Savior,
    and nailed Him to the cross;
    they crucified my Savior,
    and nailed Him to the cross.
    They crucified my Savior
    and nailed Him to the cross.
    and the Lord will bear my spirit home.

      Not sure what "moralogy" is but doubt that Jesus was ever singular. Perhaps a suitable Scripture would be (for your intro.)

      John 10:30; 10:42 – 11:1 I and my Father are one . . . and many believed on him there. Now a certain man was sick, named Lazarus, of Bethany, the town of Mary and her sister Martha.

        Now that's a tasty verse - two in one, think about that. The Bible may be lubricant for the soul, would you disagree however, it is also bona fide brain food?

          Very good, Mr Gentler! Kids these days need to learn about Jesus and how to avoid the ways of the devil. When you invite Jesus into your life, you learn to turn away from earthly foolishness, idol worship, transgenderism, or becoming a furry! Those on the media and social media worship such sinful lifestyles.

          Now we are a strict church that forbids any foolishness of the devil. We fiercely defend our children from any forms of degeneracy. We need to properly raise the next generation to come and to completely believe that Jesus died at the cross to save us from sin. If you agree with this, then you will get along quite well. Welcome!

            Indeed, although after the incident in the Pastors garden in my youth, I have a dislike of tomato.

            A laudable approach and one that will stay with them for the rest of their lives as was the tomato incident for me.

            Indeed, church attendances are rising as more hear the words of Beloved Donald and see the righteousness that he is inflicting on the heathen in a way that is so reminiscent of Old Testament prophets and kings.

            Forgive us. The Church is very busy at the moment - I myself am in the middle of a sermon that askes the question "What Language will Jesus speak when He returns?" I think this is very relevant in view of world events and that the answer will be "American" but God may (or may not) come to me with another answer.

            I have always found the Wilderness event is a remarkable piece of historical record (and it links to your name "Humble") because it shows our Saviour was humble and this is shown in the way that He refers to Himself as "Jesus" and "He" throughout so. It's as if someone were there (Perhaps Peter?) taking notes but then He would not have been alone. So we have spiritual insight and evidence of Character right there.

              You will have met people who say everything in The Bible is either fiction or psychosis. That sort of reaction is expected from lamebrains who are incapable of reason.

              Proverbs 26:16 The sluggard is wiser in his own conceit than seven men that can render a reason.

              One example is the idea of Jesus insinuating His message directly into the temporal lobes (of the brain) where sound is processed, producing a reaction misinterpreted as noises of one's own language. Another would be Jesus—or His biographer—hallucinating themselves in the 3rd person as The Sun, illuminating what otherwise would be dark.

              Malachi 4:2 But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.

              Instead of displacing darkness, since light is the more dynamic fluid, what would happen is that darkness would become thicker and thicker with every step taken into psychosis. But that is not what happens under the influence of Jesus, clearly prophesied through Malachi and made plain today where healing of psychoses, hallucinations, extreme crackpot ideology and disordered thinking is not only needed but made possible in Christ.

              False brain food, promoted via pop ideology, cannot be substituted for God concerning Whom we have a single reliable source in Jesus.

                It's funny you mention Proverbs 26:16. Brings back memories. My daddy reckoned me a sluggard and got me on all fours, popped blackboard chalk in my mouth and gave my rump a harsh licking. Some might call it things today, I'm sure of this, I don't slug in my own steaming conceit no more. And as to this thing you speak of psychosis, that was a woman's malady. And we had a cure for that with blackstrap mollasses poured into her swining gape. Quiet piggy!

                  Godless conjectures about the mind, or psyche, have no way to discern devils. Psychotic reactions are attributed to unrequited love and the demonic is denied altogether.

                  Satan does NOT want anyone to appreciate his involvement, especially when the signs—or "symptoms" in the psychodynamic model—so obviously align with descriptions from The Bible.

                  James 1:26 If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.

                  Far from bridling tongues, the psychiatric remedy is even called the talking cure, where possessed persons are encouraged to go on and on and on interminably (or at least until the bank balance is cleaned out) so deceived are they in their own hearts. The gospel of such vain religion comes from Sigmund, Carl and Alfred.

                  How they'd interpret the bizarre paroxysms shown in that musical interlude hardly requires guesswork. It's been paraded around as "art" for over a century! There are even fringe cults calling themselves "Churches" where similar gyrations are encouraged but only the sluggard (most people) fails to discern the wickedness of devils and, as a result, the need for healing.

                  Fortunately, these are The Last Days when heretics and demoniacs will attain their ultimate end. Because let's face it, if you were having an attack of the collywobbles, the last thing you'd want is those three turning up.

                    Well, ma'am let me just interfere if I may - the unrequited love. I'm a simple man of simples words - you're beautiful. Like, those auburn locks, those seductive, pensive eyes that tell me your first love is Jesus, which....as it should. But they all scream...can I trust you? And ma'am, I'm looking for undeniable honesty, someone who can say what they mean, and mean what they say? Am I being unreasonable?

                            Your poem reminded me of the Song Of Solomon, particularly the bit about trees.

                            You can love Jesus with all your heart and walk in Righteousness
                            Those who do, God explains, are incapable of sin.

                            I John 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

                            We have seen how the demonic manifests in two decades, the 1960s POST #9 and the 1980s POST #3. The guitar work is virtually identical but the dress sense is different and as the demon takes over, very obviously I think, its message is delivered in slightly different formats. The reason is because a different audience is targeted – different and yet the same. The same impressionable age group, the same "younger" generation (but a generation apart if you see what I mean) and the same song.

                            That cycle has now repeated with two subsequent generations, the 2000s and the 2020s, each more blatantly wicked than the one before but inured to vileness & depravity courtesy of the "rap" and resurgent "disco" parody masquerading as fun. Many events are now "clothing optional" with ever more abstruse musical forms being pumped out – but it's the same demon and relative to the immediately preceding generation, the same iniquitous charade. Happily we know the satanic edifice will not prevail.

                            Hebrews 11:30-31 By faith the walls of Jericho fell down, after they were compassed about seven days. By faith the harlot Rahab perished not with them that believed not, when she had received the spies with peace.

                            Thank you Jesus.
