Thank you. That was all I wanted...to get beyond the grammar and talk about what it means to be Christian. I do not feel that Nobar was the David in this situation, but since we are off of the topic I would like to avoid confronting that point. Admittedly, I have not read the entire Bible yet, but I have read most of it and love learning more about it. I don;t feel that you are being condescending right now, only asking meaning questions of me (instead of criticizing my grammar...sorry couldn;t help that comment ) I feel that I am fairly knowledgable about the commands of the Bible. Granted, I do not know everything (I wouldn't dare make such a claim), but I do my best to learn more every day. I know I am saved though and will not relent that. I believe that Jesus is the only way to heaven and that he is the way the truth and the light and no one comes to the father except through him (the alternative being hell). I believe wholeheartedly that Jesus is the son of God who sacrficed his life on the cross and rose three days later so that I may enter into heaven by accepting his gift. I have been baptized by choice because I wanted to proclaim to the world my love for Jesus.

I meant meaningful questions. I thought I would clarify that one in case it was misleading

If you want to learn more why would you come here and start arguing with a Godly man like Brother Nobar, instead of coming to him like a child to a father and asking to learn from the wisdom he has accrued over his years?

I believe he picked the fight. Also, how is this constructive? It only serves to reignite the argument.

You've yet to ask a constructive question so I'm constructively trying to determine your motives for joining us here.

Well, let's forget about the grammar issue and pretend it never happened. I recommend to you as a young man to read through many more posts on this website since there are a multitude of nuggets of wisdom implanted therein. If you have any specific questions about Christianity or the Bible, I or any other pastors here will be glad to answer them.

I would suggest to you that you get in the proper habit of capitalizing H's when referring to Jesus as "He" or "Him". It is out of respect for our Lord.

Fair enough. Do you disagree with my definition of salvation listed above or do we share that? A common theme in this forum since I have joined has been me being told that I am not a True Christian yet I don't know how our basic definitions of Chrisitianity differ. Granted we many disagree on some theology, if not a lot, but how does your basic definition of a Christian differ from my presented salvation.

p.s. I also believe the Bible is 100% the inerrant word of God and believe in Creationism and a young earth

Well you claim to believe the right things but does your love of Jesus actually extend to following 100% of the KJV1611 Holy Bible?

I believe so, but this is probably where we will disagree. I disagree with much of theology I have found on this forum. I believe all of the passages in the Bible are 100% true, I just believe we disagree on the interpretations. (things concerning rape, race, soccer being gay, beating wives for burning steak, and many more). I confess, I originally came on this forum to argue with you, but I have only ever intended to do so from a Biblical standpoint. Now that I know we share the same basic beliefs we can discuss the other points like mature Christians. I appreciate the attention you have given me today, but I really must get to sleep now. I will be back on later.

Understandable. I just copied and pasted this from my previous statement:

All of our viewpoints stem from a pure, unadulterated 1611 King James Bible. We do not twist Scripture in any way. The reason you are shocked at some of the things said on this forum is because you've never met a Church willing to follow the Bible 100%. If you can show us where we have errored from the Bible, please show us.

How is not using the shift key more "time efficient"? You hit the shift key with the pinky on one hand while you hit the key you want capitalized with a finger on the other hand. Using the shift key and not using the shift key take exactly the same amount of time.
