The NIV and KJV of the Bible clearly condemn homosexual behavior at 1 Corinthians 6:9 and Romans 1:28 in the Christian Scriptures. These translations generally interpret the Greek words "malakoi" and "arsenokoitai" as referring to homosexuals. However when these words were written by Paul there was a common phrase for the homosexual "paiderasste" which was not used. Misleading translation can lead to lead to mislead hate.

Exactly. Do you know how many families I know of with large numbers of children (the largest being 27) that have no homosexuals among them? Yet when I was driving taxi, I would meet many homers who come from families of one or two children. You people will glom onto any study, no matter how poorly done and take it as truth. I have never seen how that study was done, I would like to know.

Oh, and my father was number 11 out of 13 children (only one girl) all of them went on to marry and have children of their own. The same goes for the family of 27 that I mentioned above.

As do every other translation I've come across (sorry, I'm not fluent in Ancient Greek, so I can't check the source myself). I'm guessing you're using Young's Literal Translation? It's actually stricter than the rest, using "sodomites" in place of "homosexuals" (NASB ), "abusers of themselves with mankind" (KJV), "men who practice homosexuality" (ESV), "those who"..."practice homosexuality" (NLT), "homosexual offenders" (NIV), etc.

Sodomy casts a much larger net than mere homosexuality, including not just man on man buttsex, but any anal action, ANY ORAL action, and bestiality. So hummers (no matter who's giving it to you) = HELLFIRE and DAMNATION for both participants.

I feel the proscription in 1 Corinthians can be most clearly understood by reading all the different translations. My reading is that the original intent was to outlaw buttsex in general, no matter who's "catching".

I encourage you to understand that i am not saying so.)? If as you say you must take the word of God letter for letter, word for word, then answering these questions in another way than no, yes, yes is against Gods holy word.

We do not any of the ceremonial laws because Jesus said those were no longer neccessary. We don't follow the food laws (Mark 7:15-19, Acts 10:12-16, Rom. 14:1-3) although some of our members still regard lobster with suspicion.

They only reason we don't stone unruly children, witches and queers like you is because secular law forbids it in America.

As has been pointed out in multiple posts, all say the same thing, the ACT of homosexuality is punishable by death. Now i am going to toss a ringer into this mix, I am to this day a virgin, both to heterosexual and homosexual contact.

And i ask you, if, as Pastor Ezekiel, has pointed out that the only reason that i am not being buried to my neck and have rocks tossed at my head, is because of secular law, then how is it believed that i can be rehabilitated (i was directed to a homosexual rehabilitation forum)? You are showing compassion and love to homosexuals by trying to save them, and yet your words speak otherwise. If, as you believe, they can be changed, does it not still stand in Gods everlasting wisdom that previous to their 'eyes being opened' there were still acts which condemn them to death by Levitical Law?

For example i see many badges that state "Ex-masturbator" such as the one under Billy Bob Jenkins name. Is it not written in Gods infinite wisdom that that act had occured? Does it no longer apply because they are reformed? And for that matter, did they need to become reformed? For "And if any man's seed of copulation go out from him, then he shall wash all his flesh in water, and be unclean until the even. And every garment, and every skin, whereon is the seed of copulation, shall be washed with water, and be unclean until the even[ing]." (Leviticus 15:16-17) clearly shows that the uncleanliness can be washed away.

I pray for the souls blinded by false prophets and encourage them to look to God before looking to self proclaimed messengers of God, for God speaks to each and everyone of us, we must listen to him. Yes you can be saved. It should be simpler for you since you have never performed that evil act. You need to quit "identifying" yourself as gay, start reading the KJV Bible, repent for your sinful, lustful thoughts, get right with Jesus and get Baptized.

Personally I want to give every homer the chance to convert before stoning. I believe that once we make homerism illegal again that 90% will become hetro on the spot. As to the other 10% some are too far gone to change and others hate themselves so much that they would rather die as martyrs to their cause.
