It is not and we went into great detail about that here you are just interpreting it to be 3 when simple math will show you that is just an approximation, now it you use an different interpretation you can get it closer to the actual value.

Take a compass, set it to 8 inches and drawer a circle with it, now take some string and cut it to 8*3 = 24 inches in length, now lay the string over the edge of circle you have just drawn so it follows its circumference. Now why is there more then an inch gap between the two ends?

Yes, to my fallible human eyes there certainly appears to be a gap. But then if human eyes were that good, then there would be no need for glasses, or contact lenses, or sunglasses, or monocles, or pince-nez, or any of the other inventions that secular scientists have come up with to try and remedy the fact that human vision is deeply, deeply flawed. So, until I get confirmation of how long GOD thinks that piece of string is, I'm going to carry on believing it's the same length as the circumference. How are you ever going to see anything properly if you refuse to See the Light, friend?

God fills every other gap in human understanding - why shouldn't He fill the gap in your circle? No reason at all. God is Omniscient, and Omnipotent - nothing is beyond His capacity.

That's a silly equation to posit, being as we all already know the answer (though some of the more hellbound, may refuse to see it; and try to come up with their own).

Is your eyesight really that bad? Is it not possible to read 1 KINGS 7 in such away to get closer to a number that would make it possible to have the end of the sting meet?

I have no idea how good or bad my eyesight is, all I know is that I can see a bunch of stuff which presumably looks like I think it does. It's impossible to be sure how anything really looks, so if my flawed human senses conflict with God's infallible word then it's a no-brainer as to which one I should go with.

Now while I don't put the faith into the KJV-CFT that you do, I find it possible to get of human mathematics to fit with 1 KINGS 7in other words is not 3.
The experiment I proposed people try was not to mock your "god" but to show the failings in interpreting the passage to mean that is 3.

I'd like to see some evidence of you having made a molten sea of 10 cubits across placed on 12 oxen, and seeing how long a line has to be that encompasses it.

I'd like to see some evidence of you having made a molten sea of 10 cubits across placed on 12 oxen, and seeing how long a line has to be that encompasses it.

It is a question of how the measurements are taken that leads to differing results to the calculation of . I would have thought a "true christian" would have worked how to get 1 KINGS 7 to match the value of a lot closer then 3 does.

Are saying mathematicians can change the outcome of π by changing how they measure it? Well, that makes it obvious why they've been getting it wrong for all this time.

I'm quite sure the Bible accurately describes the value of π, it's just your broken experiment and the devil misleading you that lead you to your wrong results.

Why don't you try to be as Godly as King Solomon when he was building that temple, then you too might be able to draw such a perfect circle that the circumference is three times the diameter.

No what I am saying is that 1 Kings 7 gives some numbers but is not explicit as to how you treat those numbers and what they actually represent. It is my position that to take as three when we can easily show that is not is to misinterpret that passage, something that I think Landlubber Baptists would have sleepless nights over.

I have just done this experiment using 6 pieces of string 5” in length and a circle of 10” diameter. 6 x 5 = 30 There is no gap.

When I set my compass to 8” and draw a circle its diameter is 16” and the circumference is nothing like 24”

An excellent point, but I would also point out that string is not the proper material to do a measurement with as it is dimensionally unstable.
