I have received an infraction for calling you 'Hick'. I do apologise.

However, it was in repsonse to you calling me 'Mick' which is also a derogatory and insulting word to call white Irish Males. While I ask for no apology from you. I hope you will understand the reasons I call you 'Hick'.

Yes, some do. But as I already said most Irish people don't. Only those people who are members of societies such as the Ancient Order of Hibernians or those like your friend in The Irish Rangers wear them. Their numbers in Ireland at least, are quite small. If you come to Ireland today you'll be hard pressed to see an Irish man in a Kilt. The Kilt is still mostly a Scottish tradition in these Islands.

Men in Skirts? Now do you really want me to answer that. lol.

Seriously though, it's not part of my family tradition. Nor do I have any desire to join an unholy society that promotes such dress wear.

                  Ohhh the Irony!

I take it all you Muslims are in Al qaeda too. I bet you're really good at murdering innocent women and babies while they're at Market.

I also hear that you're great at attacking peace loving nations as you wage an UNHOLY war of terror.

The IRA are an abonination and no self respecting Irish person supports them.

All your Irish and Scottish families have your own tartan colours.

You are right to a degree, but not all families. It's a very old tradition, mostly Scottish as I said. The only families in Ireland that have colours would be those with Scottish ancestory. I know my family doesn't have a tartan.

What all Irish families do have is a coat of Arms. All Irish surnames can be represented by this form of heraldry which became established in the 8th and 9th centuries. So the coat of Arms would be Irish and the tartan would relate to Scottish heraldry.

Errmm No. My family are Irish Celts. My ancestory can be traced back to Saint Columba who converted the Pagan Picts (Scots), to Christianity. We had no desire to travel to Scotland. We have and still have our own land in Ireland, it has been in our Family for over 800 years. We have no need of tartan and as I stated, our heraldry is in our Family crest.
