I welcome all forms of discourse.

Also, thank you for the infraction, I shall wear it as a declaration of my faith.

One further question, is this forum exclusively for 'Baptists'?

You just got through saying that you worship her. Which is it? Also, why pray to her for her succour and intercession when the Bible says the following:

1 Timothy 2:5-6: For [there is] one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.

I also believe in the Holy trinity, 1 God - 3 manifestations (The father, Son and Holy Ghost), do prods believe in the trinity? Does that make me a polytheist?
No, it does not make you a polytheist, since the Trinity, unlike much of Catholic doctrine, is Biblically supported.

What does that mean? You want me to renounce my faith?

God forbid. Our holy father is Christ's representative here on Earth.

I joined this Website because I love scripture, I love studying it, I revel in the fact that it is so compex yet so simple.

I enjoy unpicking God's word from the myriad of secular translations and comparing it to Douay-Rheims version. Whilst I do enjoy Scripture I do not regard every line as the inerrant Word of God.

I worship God and the virgin Mary as well as our saviour Jesus christ.

    etc

I believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God,
begotten, not made, of one Being with the Father.

Through him all things were made. For us and for our salvation he came
down from heaven: by the power of the Holy Spirit he became incarnate
from the Virgin Mary, and was made man.

For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate; he suffered death and was buried. On the third day he rose again in accordance with
the Scriptures; he ascended into heaven and is seated at the right
hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living
and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end.

We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son. With the Father and the Son he is worshipped
and glorified. He has spoken through the Prophets.

We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church.

We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins.

We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. Amen.

This is the Niceen creed, or the Roman Catholic creed, basically it states that all you Prods, baptist and other so called Christians will burn in hell!!!

So, how are my beliefs wrong and yours right?

While I respect everyone's right to worship and religious freedoms, the vitriol and what I consider hogwash against the Roman Catholic church on some threads here, I see as an attack on my church.

I'm slightly concerned that if I profess my beliefs and traditions in discussion threads, then I may be on the end of a tongue lashing from some of the more conservative members of this forum. At the end of teh day do we not all worship the same God?

    No.

"Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds." (2 John 1:9-11)
