I started a post about it because we, as a human race, know that the Earth is round. It is sad that you seem to preach otherwise and even go as far as to base salvation on it. The bible uses metaphors like the "edge of the Earth" for a good reason, they are just metaphors because it doesn't matter. He has left some things for us to discover such as the shape of the Earth. Jesus did die to save homosexuals and muslims, on one condition, that they repent and live for Jesus. God does want us to think for ourselves. He has given us the world to discover and to explore, that is very different from trusting which is important as proverbs rightly says.

Where does it say in the Bible that we are supposed to ignore certain Scriptures?

Are you even a Christian? If you were, you'd know that Jesus temporarily died on the Cross for the sins of Christians, not unrepentant queers, mudslimes, or other scum. Jesus DID NOT die for everyone!

He died for those that BELIEVE.

I am not suggesting that Jesus died for unprentent athiests, muslims, homosexuals or anyone else who doesn't repent. Remember, they are no more sinners than anyone else. The only difference between the saved is that they have repented and put their faith in Jesus. If you have repented it doesn't matter if you broke one of his laws or were a mass murdered, if you have repented and left that behind you are saved.

Just because we must obey the bible does not mean that we cannot think for ourselves. We must also remember that obeying the bible and believing all of it means recognizing the context of passages and any metaphors. The phrases that are meant to be literal truth are clearing defined as such.

I absolutely agree, once we are living for Christ then Christ lives in us also and we have no business sinning. We are dead to sin. However, that does not mean that we won't make mistakes. We will still sin, the only difference is that it is forgiven, we are not judged under the the law but under grace.

This is exactly the reason why it is wrong to stone people to death for their sins. We live in an age of grace, Jesus has told us to love one another, he will judge everyone when he returns, not us. Even Jesus himself did not order the woman caught in adultery to be stoned but had mercy on her. So should we.
