Greetings to All,
I am Father Agnus McDouglas, and after reading your internet forum, I have found a place with other like minded people all over the world. I was born in a small village near Aberdeen, Scotland; but we moved away after a black man bought a house in the neighbouring village. My father used to read me the KJV1611 every day, and eventually taught me how to beat my younger siblings with it when he was away. I was schooled in the village school with six other people. We used to walk there and back seven days a week and on Easter we where not allowed to wear shoes on the four mile walk and would be beaten before leaving for home as to feel some of Jesus' pain. I was married at seventeen and by twenty six my wife by the grace of our lord gave us four handsome boys. I now teach religious education at a number of school around our home in the Scottish highlands. my hobbies are collecting rare and old copies of KJV Bibles, although recently my wife broke one after receiving it to the back of her head.
I have many favourite verses in the KJV but:
14:9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
14:10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
14:11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
from Revelations is one of my favourite sets of passages. I occasionally ask my two oldest lads to act out parts from Revelations, they look forward to the rapture more than Christmas!
Peace be upon you.
