  • Near Death brought me here

Hi, ive decided to join as i found God!
Although im not a true American my roots are in England as that's where i was brought up.
But now im settled in Texas.
I was brought here by an experience that shook me to the core. Back in England i was out one peace idyllic day on my motorcycle, when a big rig struck me from the side i was out for the count.
Next thing i knew i was on the operating table with my heart stopped i was revived 3 times. This is where it happened i saw the light and jesus guided me through the shadow of the valley of death then out of the other side unscathed.
Im a true believer now although half of my leg is missing im just glad for the life he gave me and to carry on. Nothing is stronger than the will to live!

    Thanks Holywellsapian
Exodus 20:11 For [in] six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them [is], and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

You are indeed blessed to see Jesus. I hope you will be in a position to confirm to unbelievers that he is (a) not Jewish at all, (b) is 6’ 3”, blond hair and blue eyes.

Your partially missing leg worries me though. It makes me wonder just how strong your faith is. The question I ask is, “Have you prayed to Jesus to have the leg miraculously re-grow?” If so, and if it has not, I would think that either your punishment is not over or you are not fully Christian, for do we not read in the Bible:

M'r:11:22: And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
M'r:11:23: For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
M'r:11:24: Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

So basically Jesus rejected you from entering heaven and made you cripple? Why did you hate God so much to deserve it? What was you hideous sin?

Well, there, Long John Silver, you didn't mention how your teeth fared in the accident, but, if you're a typical brit, it would be rather hard to tell.

Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

I do pray every night to God and thank him that my life was not taken. Also that the path i was heading in was not the one he wanted me to take.
I took to reading the KJV after all this happened! I do not let the fact that i have a gammy leg overcome my duty to serve the Lord.
