This came from a comedy show. As far as I know, this is all god ask of you. Anything more is selfish, doesn't god look down on selfishness?? "Everyone you have spoken to" is not a valid source for making decisions about the Bible. Why not read the Bible for yourself?

If you understood the Bible you would understand that male on male sex (homosexuality) is an abomination and not pardonable by payment of money and marriage.

That explains a lot. But let me tell you something. We do not try to interpret the scriptures according to our own personal opinions and instead of just picking out all the "good" parts we follow the entire Bible as the good Lord commands us. This is the mistake that most, if not all false Christians do. There is more to the Bible than just "loving one another" and "being a good person".

Deuteronomy 4:2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.

Proverbs 30:5 Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.

So there's passages about killers, drinkers and party goers. Also about ppl that are scared(wtf),or bang there neighbors wife or goat. Even if you return a library book late. But were does it say I can rape a female than make her marry me. I'm sure you have that scripture burned into memory( starting a good defense early in court is key)But still do you really believe that's ok. And be honest I dont want to hear some practiced answer you tell ppl. simple yes or no will surfice.

Why?

Because GOD has said so in His Holy Word.

The Bible is, after all, our only source of morality and right and wrong actions are determined by whether or not GOD has said they are right or wrong.
