I would like to inform you and everyone else on something called "christian meditation".
It is lame attempt by the sinners and non-believers to disguise a practise that is clearly not christian. Metaphorically speaking, it's a WOLF in SHEEP clothes. I repeat: It is NOT a christian practise. We pray, we don't meditate.

Also, there have been various reports from everything from "experts" to normal, sinful, users of meditation - claiming that you can reach other types of mental awareness and/or mental states through meditation. This is nothing but a LIE - it is the abstraction of Satan's presence in your body. Satan do play tricks on your mind in order to divert you from the true, holy path.

And this is exactly the same thing as with drugs. Marijuana, Psilocybin mushrooms, Opium poppy - they are creations of God that has been corrupted by Satan. Consuming drugs is an OPEN INVITATION to Satan! Stay away from it unless you want to go to Hell.

As you should know, meditation is a standard religious practice for Buddhists and believers in other false religions. And practicing other religions than christianity is bad!

Departing from the faith:

So to practice the teachings of Buddha and other false prophets, is to turn away from Jesus!

A super quote. I always like to read on in context when I see a wondrous piece of scipture - to get the true flavour of God's love.

And here we see God's loving warning writ large later in the same book.

1 John 5:10-12 10 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. 11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

Stirring stuff, I'm sure you'll agree. It certainly makes my pulse race and speaks to me of the love of God for giving us this warning of our potential damnation should we not heed His word in its entirety.

sorry I dont know how to reply to one person, but for Zechariah's question:

I found Jesus in an unexpected way one might say, I felt very lonely because my "friends" liked to get drunk, cheat on their girlfriends and take pills. I started to distance myself from them and they casted me out, so I had no friends except for my family and I had a lot of free time, so I started meditating and I just aksed over and over for God to give me an answer, why am I so alone, why am I hated so much? And one day, or night more specific, I felt someone in the room with me... I was with my eyes closed and very afraid... I felt a warm light and thats when I met him for the first time.

Hello everyone, it is my first time posting, I hope I can give advice and help anyone that needs love and peace, I am 25 years and I started meditating when I was around 20, in one of my meditations I found Jesus, since then my view of the world has changed completely, I am in a state of constant peace.
