Re: Read, with open mind, not baist thoughts.

Homosexuality is just a chemical set of hormones?
Yes, hormones that have been corrupted by the presence of sin and satan. There have been several psychiatric studies about so-called "conversion therapy" - ie homosexual sinners who turn straight because they find God. It's about a certain mindset, it's about sin and the belief in Jesus. Homosexuality is NOT right according to God:

"But the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the LORD exceedingly."
    Genesis 13:13

"Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind it is abomination."
    Leviticus 18:22

And there's a lot more about it in the bible. It's a SIN to crave for a person of the same sex as yourself. A man and a man can't have a child, and neither can a woman and a woman - it's plain wrong, and unnatural!

Also, you bring up the subject of how a child is made. It is true that men and females are made from the same basic "building blocks" (can't find a better word). After all, God created Eve from a piece of Adam - and they were both made in the image of God. Those hormones you talk about, is just an abstraction of God's will. God decides what sex your child shall have, and I assume he decides this by moving around hormones. You see, all "scientific explainations" are just abstractions of God's will or actions.

    And that latter part:
It doesn't matter if I respect you or not. If you are a sinner, a jew, homosexual or "unfit" in any other way as explained in the Bible - then you will go to hell, it as simple as that. I do chose to respect you because it's in the way of a true christian to do so: but that doesn't mean I like your sinning attitude and/or behavior.

DUH because I would of been banned from the forums before I could do the proper research.
Lying and plagiarism will get you banned a lot quicker than reading the Bible. We don't ban people for reading the Bible.
Ye, it's obvious that's stolen. I'm presuming I'm banned in 1-2 days anyways, which would be my research time.
That will depend on your behaviour here. As I say, if you spend the next day or two reading the Bible, then you should be just fine.

So, just guessing around here. Do you guys support that? If so, I'm officially appalled.
    Do you support 9/11?

The Bible has a powerful message for everyone, friend.

    MY FIRST PREMISE:
Most people have not carefully and prayerfully researched the biblical texts often used to condemn God's lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender children.
The members of the LBC forums are not most people, friend.

Jesus says nothing about same-sex behavior.
My Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, didn't have to say anything about homosinuality as Leviticus 18:22 and Leviticus 20:13 already made it clear.

The Jewish prophets are silent about homosexuality.
What would Joos know about God's laws? They don't even acknowledge my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, as the son of God.

Only six or seven of the Bible's one million verses refer to same-sex behavior in any way
Only six or seven of the Bible's several million verses say that murder is wrong. Does that make it any less wrong?

and none of these verses refer to homosexual orientation as it's understood today.
Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
Leviticus 18:22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.

What else is there to understand about homosinuality?

They don't know the original meaning of the words in Hebrew or Greek.
Why would they need to know Hebrew or Greek? Don't you know God speaks American?

    MY SECOND PREMISE:
    to support Hitler's Third Reich and the Holocaust;
Hitler was a papist, not a Christian.

    to oppose medical science;
Sickular "doctors" are just queers in disguise trying to further the homosinual agenda. That's why they put their fingers in a man's rectum when he comes in for a checkup.

    to condemn interracial marriage;
    Deuteronomy 7:3-4, and 2 Corinthians 6:14

    to execute women as witches;
    Exodus 22:18

and to support the Ku Klux Klan.
The only problem I see with the Klan is that they hide under sheets while doing their Christian duties as though they are ashamed.
    Matthew 10:33

We'd like to believe that no person of good will would misuse the Bible to support his or her prejudice.
Friend, no Christian is prejudiced. The problem is that certain people (homosinuals, papists, atheists, evilutionists) don't like being told they will burn in hell and call us bigots.

Long rant about good Christian Soldiers killing queers.
Leviticus 20:13 tells us that a queer's AIDS infested blood is on is own head.

We must be open to new truth from Scripture.
What new truth? There is only one Scripture, which is God's Holy Word. No "new truth" can be derived from it, simply "the truth".

What if someone asked you, "Is there a chance you could be wrong about the way you've interpreted the biblical texts sometimes used to condemn homosexual orientation?"
Christians don't "interpret" the Bible, we just do what it says.

    MY THIRD PREMISE
Friend, you either forgot to copy and paste this one, or the fellow who wrote this can't count.

    MY FOURTH PREMISE:
The Bible is a book about God

not a book about human sexuality.
Not so fast, friend. The Bible is a book about God, which includes all His creations. That includes humans and human sexuality.

The Bible is the story of God's love for the world and the people of the world. It tells the history of God's love at work rescuing, renewing, and empowering humankind.
Why do liberal cherry-picking false Christians always forget that it is also the story of God's judgement, damnation of sinners, wrath, and anger?

    DEUTERONOMY 22:13-21
If it is discovered that a bride is not a virgin, the Bible demands that she be executed by stoning immediately.
    DEUTERONOMY 22:22
If a married person has sex with someone else's husband or wife, the Bible commands that both adulterers be stoned to death.
    MARK 10:1-12
Divorce is strictly forbidden in both Testaments, as is remarriage of anyone who has been divorced.
    LEVITICUS 18:19
The Bible forbids a married couple from having sexual intercourse during a woman's period. If they disobey, both shall be executed. Leviticus 18:19 says nothing about executions.
    MARK 12:18-27
If a man dies childless, his widow is ordered by biblical law to have intercourse with each of his brothers in turn until she bears her deceased husband a male heir.
    DEUTERONOMY 25:11-12
If a man gets into a fight with another man and his wife seeks to rescue her husband by grabbing the enemy's genitals, her hand shall be cut off and no pity shall be shown her.

I'm certain you don't agree with these teachings from the Bible about sex. And you shouldn't. The list goes on: The Bible says clearly that sex with a prostitute is acceptable for the husband but not for the wife. Polygamy (more than one wife) is acceptable, as is a king's having many concubines. (Solomon, the wisest king of all, had 1,000 concubines.) Slavery and sex with slaves, marriage of girls aged 11-13, and treatment of women as property are all accepted practices in the Scriptures. On the other hand, there are strict prohibitions against interracial marriage, birth control, discussing or even naming a sexual organ, and seeing one's parents nude.
And what is wrong with doing as God commands?

Over the centuries the Holy Spirit has taught us that certain Bible verses should not be understood as God's law for all time periods. Some verses are specific to the culture and time they were written, and are no longer viewed as appropriate, wise, or just.

Often, the Holy Spirit uses science to teach us why those ancient words no longer apply to our modern times. During the last three decades, for example, organizations representing 1.5 million U.S. health professionals (doctors, psychiatrists, psychologists, counselors, and educators) have stated definitively that homosexual orientation is as natural as heterosexual orientation, that sexual orientation is determined by a combination of yet unknown pre- and post-natal influences, and that it is dangerous and inappropriate to tell a homosexual that he or she could or should attempt to change his or her sexual orientation.
Chapter and Verse to support this please?

just as other Bible verses that speak of certain sexual practices are no longer understood as God's law for us in this day.
    Matthew 5:18
    Psalm 119:44

Let's start "In the Beginning..." What does the creation story in Genesis 1-2 say about God?
It says God made the heavens and earth, the firmament, the plants and trees, animals, fish, fowl, and Adam and Eve. You can read it for yourself here.

Gays and non-gays alike need to know and celebrate the truth at the center of this story.
Yes. God made everything, then He made a man, then He made a woman for the man.

Some people say the city of Sodom was destroyed because it was overrun by sexually obsessed homosexuals.
Genesis 19:5 That was part of it. The men wanted to queer rape God's angels.

Listen to what Ezekiel 16:48-49 tell us: "This is the sin of Sodom; she and her suburbs had pride, excess of food, and prosperous ease, but did not help or encourage the poor and needy. They were arrogant and this was abominable in God's eyes."48As I live, saith the Lord GOD, Sodom thy sister hath not done, she nor her daughters, as thou hast done, thou and thy daughters. 49Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy.
I hope that helps clear things up for you, friend.

Yours in my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ,
    Yeshua

I find it a bit odd you plagiarized something and then state we ban people for thinking for themselves. Based on that logic, you would be welcome here forever.

Friend, it's obvious you are a confused individual. If you haven't been cast out by the time I'm done with my morning prayers (usually around noon), I'll take the time to explain why everything in your long-winded stolen post is wrong. Hopefully then you'll let my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, come into you.

You see if you had thought to gather your thoughts before going off on one you'd not have made such a silly billy of yourself.

    Lurk more.

Proverbs 3:34 Surely he scorneth the scorners: but he giveth grace unto the lowly.

Why not take some time to grasp the mighty wonder of God's word as a means to fully understanding the nature of God Himself? Why not form your own thoughts about God from reading the Holy Bible? Why not then see if, after reading the Bible from cover to cover rather than regurgitating the thoughts of others, you come to the conclusion that His word should be spread far and wide without editing it for all the fluffy and nice bits?

For God is a violent and jealous God and not warning people of that is doing them a great wrong if they think they are going to Heaven while fornicating and lying with men as women.

Now know this, my message to you is one of love so that you are not misled by false Christians into Hell. We alone are unafraid of God's word to the letter!
