Friend, we believe the Earth is exactly as God describes it in the Bible, something which is totally and completely supported by all secular science that is unbiased and not harboring an anti-religious agenda.

If you'd like to learn more about the shape and nature of the Earth, I suggest reading the following thread:

    Square Earth: Biblical or BS?

And pay particular attention to the links contained in the following post by the Reverend Jim Osborne:

    This is God's Earth!

    Revalation 7:1

Does a blasphemous globe have FOUR CORNERS? You need to learn about geometry and be SAVED by the blood of Jesus Christ!

Skepticism for the Word Of God is a SIN!

    1 Corinthians 11:1-2

    Acts 2:38-39

    2 Thessalonians 3:6

The Bible is THE WORD OF GOD! Know it, love it, live it, or burn in hell.

    That's obviously not true.

Jesus called you here for a reason, friend. Why not take the opportunity to open your heart to His love? Doesn't eternal Salvation sound good to you? It does to me!

You see God is a killer. Jesus will return as a warrior. Look at the Book of Revelations and you'll find out that Jesus is going to come back as a killer. And don't you forget that. God will kill a third of the population, a third of the earth! You don't want to be one of them, do you?

    • There are NO points of view "up for discussion" because THE BIBLE STATES THE FACTS
    • There are no arbitrary "beliefs" whether this or that may be so, no blind gropings in darkness where THE BIBLE STATES THE TRUTH
    • No arcane "learning" is necessary, twisted into young minds, that nothing exists and everything will fade away to convince us when THE BIBLE STATES REALITY
    • God is always clear. There is not some arcane de-ciphering process required to discover His meaning and THE BIBLE STATES GOD'S LAW

Secularists deny God and reject His Plan For Salvation. Every day and in every way they re-invent the future where everything will be so bonny — while all around the flotsam of ruined youth smashes against a cliff of "science" it had been powerless to resist.

Secularists will insinuate their venom wherever they see an opening.
They have penetrated into the bowels of "golbal government" and even dictate the atheistic "education" agenda to further the reach of satan.

Were you educated by secularists Mr Skeptic?

Your question is so vague and open-ended that it would be difficult to answer it. By some people, to whom do you refer? I can tell you quite honestly that for True Christians(tm) there is no blind faith necessary. We know the earth is flat because the Bible tells us so. True Christians(tm) use logic and reason, not simple unbridled credulity like atheists and Cafeteria Christians.

Now would you agree that if the earth were a sphere that a slant in China looking up would be looking in a completely different direction universe wise than a True Christian(tm) in God's US of A looking up? If so, what do you make of these following passages?
Mark 7:34 -- And looking vp to heauen, hee sighed, and saith vnto him, Ephphatha, that is, Be opened.
II Kings 2:11 -- And it came to passe as they still went on and talked, that beholde, there appeared a charet of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder, and Elijah went vp by a whirlewind into heauen.
Psalms 123:1 -- [A song of degrees.] Vnto thee lift I vp mine eyes: O thou that dwellest in the heauens.
Even if the Bible did not explicitly tell us that the earth is flat, a True Christian(tm) can use reason alone to tell us that it is.Obviously people scattered all over a globe would be looking in opposite directions when looking up, and at least some of them would not be able to look at heaven.

If God wanted to convey the idea that the earth is a sphere he could have done so without any effort. He speaks perfect English. He also spoke perfect Hebrew once upon a time.

    Compare:
Isaiah 40:22 -- It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:
where the word translated as circle is חוג (chug). It means flat as in a coin. The Hebrew word for globe, or orb or ball is דור (dur).

    With:
Isaiah 22:18 -- He will surely violently turn and toss thee like a ball into a large country: there shalt thou die, and there the chariots of thy glory shall be the shame of thy lord's house.
Ball here is of course דור (dur).

The failure to communicate here is not God's, rather it is yours.

Fair enough, but you have to understand, the point of views expressed on this website are far beyond what I thought people would be ready to believe.

    I stand corrected.

However, to get back on topic, does the ''medal'' (icon, picture, badge, achievement, whatever) that states ''Flat Earth'' mean that this particular person is convinced the Earth is flat or does it have a more subjective meaning?

How dare you! Tell me was there’s anything that any True Christian™ ever claimed scripturally incorrect?

I can’t imagine that anyone would dare to mock His name in such an unsavory fashion; the Lord would sent thunder, hail, and lightning flashed against the blasphemer.

True Chtistians believe The Bible. False "christians" do not. There is no room for any sort of "alternative belief system" and "optional positions" do not exist where we have the inerrant Word of God. Case closed.

JOHN 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

    Friend,

I can assure that there are no satyrs on the internet. They can only be found dancing in the ruins of Babylon (Isaiah 13:21).

Why the name CptSkeptic? Are you a captain? And what is it you're so skeptical of?
