Re: Hello.
You haven't read the Bible. Oh, you've read PARTS of it, like John 3:16 and Matthew 7:1 and some others that you take out of context and that happen to agree with your worldview.
But, you need to drop your satanic ways and read the WHOLE Bible, including the parts about avoiding women during their unclean time and not eating rabbits and making sure your tallywacker doesn't get crushed and etc. etc. THEN you can say you've read the Bible.
Yours in Christ,
Z. Smyth

Re: Hello.
Told you you were going to Hell.
Jesus brought you here for a reason. I guess you don't really have an excuse now. You chose... poorly.

Re: Hello.
I have read the Bible; it is about as authentic as Harry Potter. I have been convinced once more that religion is nothing more a way of convincing the hateful, prejudiced (and mentally weakened) masses that what they are doing is justified.
I mean, God cannot condone
I have seen God truly, and I have seen that he is not something a human brain can comprehened. I would like to wish you the greatest of luck in living in your insane little world between the covers of the Bible. I hope that you will one day free yourselves from the chains of religion and be truly free.
God bless you

Re: Hello.
I'm at a loss as to where you are going with this. I feel you know the answer and are setting some sort of clever trap for God. God is quite plain about this.
The first and exclusive step to being saved is to believe in Jesus. Then you must follow all God's commandments. These can be found in the Bible. Read it!
If you are looking for an apology for this you are in the wrong place.

Works are often the fruit of Grace, but simply put, if you don't accept Jesus Christ as your personal LORD and Savior, you're going to hell.Originally posted by sinner123 View PostBut how about all the Good I've done? John 14:6
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Ephesians 2:8
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Re: Hello.
Let's introduce a different scenario. I volunteered in a less-than-fortunate neighbourhood with the kids to get their life straight. There had been kids who had stabbed and raped; yet they beleived in Jesus christ as their personal saviour. Do they get a one way ticket to Heaven? Or Hell.Originally posted by Redeemed Papist View PostDo you believe in Jesus Christ as your personal saviour? It really is that simple.

It's really simple. You burn in Hell.

Hello.
I found this website through a forum I like visiting from time to time. This place struck me as very interesting and (thought) provocative, and I would like to ask you 'true christians' what would become of me once I die - after all, you are the closest to god
I am not christian. I was baptised, but I have found the 'teachings of God' to be too cumbersome and self contradictory to be followed. Nonetheless, I would say my moral integrity is very much intact - I give money to several charities, I have volunteered to work with the homeless and poor, I even volunteered in war torn and lawless regions of Africa. I can say without doubt that I am an all around good person.
I live a modest life, and pride myself only in the good I do others. I tick all the boxes of being a follower of God, with the exception of believing in his existence/the faith that is called 'religion' that he has set down for us. If any religion can apply to me, the closest would be Buddhism.
What does this mean I have in store after my life comes to an end?Tags: None
