What does Jesus tell us to do when a sinner will not listen?

Matthew 10:14-15 And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.
Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.

Notice He says, "Sodom and Gomorrha". That is a pretty serious judgment. For details on Sodom and Gomorrha, please see my three part sermon on it beginning here.

My Master is Not Satan. See this is what I mean, Really Hate here. Im a christan who loves god, and im sure you do to, But your putting someone really down by telling them that there master is satan? Now WHERE DOES IT SAY IN THE BIBLE that you can just say christan kids masters are satan, and if there not, its alright. Im sure God wouldint appricate that nor alot of member on this fourm!

Hello Everyone. My Name is Joseph. I grew up with Jesus and love him with all my heart. Im only 13 years old though. I goto Family Worship Center, A very good church. I feel that people take the bible to literal, and dont see with there eyes. Jesus doesint want us to spit in peoples faces just because they sined or because they dont belive in god, but rather show them the way. I hope many people feel the same way like me, because i feel that is the right way.

I would ask you what your favorite Bible verse is, but apparently you might not have many verses to choose from. See, it looks as though you have apparently removed a lot of them because you feel that people are taking the Bible too seriously.

So, can you please tell me which ones we are not to take literally? The list doesn't need to be comprehensive, just a dozen or so.

Keep this in mind, though:

(Revelation 22:18-19) "For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book."

JESUS really wants and doesn't want?

I dont know EVERYTHING that Jesus Wants, Or Doesint Want. But I Do Know Jesus forgives and will forgive ANYONE. That is why he died on the cross for our sins. I belive sometimes people on these fourms use alot of hate, and tell people they should 'Burn In Hell' because they dont belive in Jesus. You cant be a christan without sinning, And thats in the bible. So What if the 'sin' a pre-christan does it not belive in god? will God just let him burn in hell? Or will god show him the light?

If you don't take the Bible literally how can you claim to know what JESUS really wants and doesn't want?
