Who cares what you think? Who are you to judge God? It's what JESUS thinks that counts, not some addle-brained girl who gnaws blubber for breakfast.

Isaiah 55:8-9: For my thoughts [are] not your thoughts, neither [are] your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For [as] the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

So you admit that you only follow the parts of the Bible you agree with, not the ones that might inconvenience you.

    Typical liberal.

So you're saying that you've chosen to spit in Christ's loving face rather than submit yourself willingly to God's commandments...

    I see.

Ah, see, that's where you're wrong little lady.

    1 Corinthians 11:3
But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.

    1 Corinthians 14:34-36
Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as also saith the law. And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.

Because I have had friends who have left the churches because they were unfit.
I don't need a man to decide things for me, thank you.

    Oh, thank you so much.

That's Jesus speaking to you, telling you that He is real, not just some fairy you can make up for yourself like Zeus or Allah!

So, how much of the Bible are you going to read daily?

    Re: Hello!

I suppose I could, yes, but I have not found any churches here that made me comfortable.
Many churches here are Korean or a sub-category of Christianity, and that is not what I am looking for.

I have, though, chosen to ignore the bible up until now. It was only recently that I started feeling like I was wrong in my convictions.

Do tell, how is this possible?

    Were you incarcerated?

If you wanted to attend church, you could very well do so.

Would it not be more accurate to say that you have chosen not to go to church since your parents stopped taking you?

You have chosen to ignore God?

You have chosen to make up a God and Jesus in your head, who happen to agree with everything you think, rather than devote just 15 minutes a day to reading the Perfect Word of the Creator of the entire Universe?
