  • Hi! Newbie here

    Hi,

My name is Matthew. I found your site looking for some material to help out with my brothers home schooling. Thought I'd join instead of just snooping around!

I go to Christus St. Catherine, but I like to say that my favorite church is my own house! Anyway my favorite verse is Leviticus 19:15. I'm just very excited our lord savior jesus christ brought me here to some like minded people. Its truly a blessing

How long have you been married, son?

How many male children has your wife expunged onto the lap of Jesus for His army?

How and when did God touch you? Tell us all about the Glory of His power.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

That key on your keyboard just above the CTRL key and below the CAPS LOCK key or the one on the other side below the ENTER/RETURN key will make the word "Jesus" look like it should.

Also how did you find Jesus?

I and my comely wife were married not but 3 months past. We have consummated, but I suspect the Lord must be waiting for my year of rest to finish before I am blessed with a son.

Oh how lovely! I home school my own children and am pleased to share the treasures I find, such as math from a biblical perspective. I do hope your brothers don't have the devil's red hair as well, but I too am interested in getting to know you. I would love to hear all about your love of Jesus. I just can't stop talking about Him! I love how Jesus makes me feel late at night when I can't sleep and I imagine His Spirit hovering over me in my bed. Is it like that for you, too?
Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

Forgive me and thank you! I dont often use the computer. My father says that it is an enabler of the slothful and an idol for weak men to covet. But I only get on the internet explorer to further Jesus's good word!

I have always known Jesus, I grew up home schooled and was taught of our Lord's love every day!

Hovering over your bed! I hope you are feeling him observe a holy matrimony. Only the devil tempts us with lust while sleeping alone!!!

I'm so glad to see someone else with the same thoughts on math as my family! Did you know that the so called "scientists" math actually uses Arabic Numerals!! I've told my wife to never trust such tainted lies. The Lord writes out his numbers in letters.

My favorite would be the Remington Bolt Action. I prefer the model 700. My favorite animal is any my Lord has given my family dominion over. "Whatsoever parteth the hoof, and is clovenfooted, and cheweth the cud, among the beasts, that shall ye eat. " Leviticus 11 (KVJ) (Though I dont think my savior minds my preference for deer )

The Lord gave humans dominion over all animals. Or are you saying you prefer to shoot your pets?

Why would He? Deer are cloven-hoofed ruminants, thus clean under Mosaic Law. Isaac's favorite meal was venison.

I thought you said you were a Christian.

Pets? Are you trying to say that GOD gave us every living creature to care after to pet and coddle like a newborn? No! When the great flood waters receded God told us in Genesis 9 that we should cast fear and dread into all creatures and that every living thing that moves shall be food for us! Are you suggesting that I betray my bond with the Lord to coddle a fawn? . I clearly dont understand what you are trying to say here

Yes, He did. So naturally, I ask why you reference animals that "your family" has dominion over -- which would be a subset of all animals, since you're using the phrase to define "your favorite animal", instead of simply saying "I have no preferred animal, I love shooting all kinds" -- and then mentioning deer, seemingly as something outside that subset of animals?

Do you prefer to shoot your pets? It's a yes or no question.

I can't believe that you live on a farm, seeing as you don't even know that deer are cloven-hoofed cud-chewers, so I don't expect you have livestock to shoot.

Care to come clean? The faux outrage doesn't work so well on me.

It's quite all right to be seeking Jesus, even if you've not quite found Him yet! We'd love to help you see who He really is, as He describes Himself in His Holy Word.

I see there was some miscommunication. First off, your right that I don't live on a farm. You appear to be saying pets are anything my Lord Jesus has given my family dominion over, so then the answer would be yes, thought its a right odd question.

I'm just plain confused by all your talk of sets and subsets. But I'm trying to say that I'll hunt anything my Lord has allowed, but my favorite would be deer.

I certainly think that I've fund Jesus! But I'm always open to learning more about the good word! Its why I joined!

Actually Noah sacrificed one of every clean beast as a burnt offering.

Genesis 8:20 And Noah builded an altar unto the LORD; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.
