  • Hello, new here...

My name is Brittany. I am 21, un-married. I have known the Lord since I could remember and I would like to be closer to him again. I don't attend a church right now although I would like to find one. I have attended church most of my life and went to an all-girls Christian boarding school. My aunt who passed away recently to be with the Lord, is the one who was a vessel from Jesus to save me and teach me the ways of being a Christian. My favorite scripture would have to be Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, said the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
    Thanks!

    Welcome, young lady!

Is there a particular sin that made you give up on your personal life and turn to Jesus Christ? Nightmares from which you could get no relief?

Open up and tell all. You are among friends. As an ex-gay saved by Jesus, I have indeed heard it all.

    In Christ.
Matthew 19:14 "But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven."

I do feel guilty that I haven't giving God the time of day like I used to. At my boarding school everything we did revolved around Jesus. We prayed at every meal, we did bible study every day, praise and worship every day, Wednesday night church, Sunday morning and Sunday night church, etc. Now that I am on my own, it feels like its harder to study the word and put God first. Id like to get back to my old routine and start living for God again. I was truly the happiest I've ever felt when He was in my life daily.

Welcome to God's favorite forum. At 21 you're practically an old hag!

I'm interested in how you fancy yourself a "warrior for Christ" is you're an unmarried female? I've never heard of that before.

Yes. But this does not answer my question.

God's Holy Word in the KJV1611 Bible is all over the Interwebs.

Certainly there was filthy sin that made you realize you were doomed to eternal hellfire. Tell us about it and don't lie, or we will know.

          In Christ.

No, young lady. God sees it all.

Job 28:24 "For he looketh to the ends of the earth, and seeth under the whole heaven;"

And none of that papal confession stuff. Just tell the truth.

There's a word for girls like you.

I hope you at least had the Christian decency to sell give the little bastard up for adoption.

Nope, I kept him. Everyone tells me a child is a blessing and I have accepted the responsibility to raise him. You are pro-life aren't you? I'm sure there is a word for girls like that. I hope I can be forgiven.

You kept the bastard son? A blessing would of been if the father married you. Did you refuse his offer of fifty shekels?

How did you manage to get raped at an all female school? What courses were you taking, cooking or cleaning?
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Honey, have you married him? That is the responsible thing to do. As a self-proclaimed Christian woman, surely you want to honor God in this trial by following His will:
                          If a man find a damsel that is a virgin, which is not betrothed, and lay hold on her, and lie with her, and they be found;

Then the man that lay with her shall give unto the damsel's father fifty shekels of silver, and she shall be his wife; because he hath humbled her, he may not put her away all his days.
                          (Deuteronomy 22:28-29)

Surely the father of your child will pay your own father his due.
Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

I hate not yet, but I would like to, I want to make sure we can continue to get along. The father of my child is an unbeliever. I was told I should not marry a man who is an unbeliever. Which is a shame. I have witnessed to him many times. Although he is a good guy, I want a Godly man.
