  • Apology

I know this is the introduction forum, but I couldn't do this anywhere else-
I'm very sorry for sounding uppity, self- centered, or anything else. I don't mean to speak my opinion (not like I should have one). From now on, I'll try my very best to only speak when necessary and at no other time. Please forgive me for my insolence!!

    Re: Apology

There, there. We Christians are nothing if not forgiving.

To let the LORD know that you are serious about your repentance, perhaps you should consider making a love offering. The LORD delights in a cheerful giver. Besides, the money is not even yours in the first place.

    Haggai 2:8
The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the LORD of hosts.
    II Thessalonians 1:7-9
And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power

The man who is being progressively sanctified will inescapably sanctify his home, school, politics, economics, science, and all things else by understanding and interpreting all things in terms of the Word of God and by bringing all things under the Dominion of Christ the King. -R.J. Rushdoony

Perhaps if you confess you dirty sins you may find some solace. Don't worry if your sins are heinous: the Pastors have a great deal of experience in this are and I have studied these things in academic depth.

But don't take my for it: takes God's

Proverbs 28:13 He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.

1 Corinthians 11:3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.

Revelation 22:15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

        Re: Apology

Well Rita, how we feel matters little, all that matters is how God feels. I hope you do not think for a second that merely apologizing to Him and everything will be forgiven. He gave you the Holy Bible. You choose not to follow it and then get yourself in quite a pickle. We are merely living people that unblinkingly follow His Word and as such, accept your meager apology. What does the Bible tell you that you must do to resolve the blind insolence you have shown Him? Keep in mind, God has plenty of ties and aftershave.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

To be honest, I think that my opinions getting me in trouble is why Daddy compares me to a puppy sometimes- I'm loyal, loving, but thinking?- not something I was meant to do. I apologize for everything I've said that may have offended anyone here. Instead of allowing my emotions to rule me, I will from now on focus on reading the Bible and being a pleasure to Daddy. I hope not to say anything out of line anymore!

Yet you still hide behind this shyness of yours, and haven't posted a proper pic.

How are we to trust you if you keep hiding in the shadows, Rita? Why don't you post a nice photograph of yourself like Roberta has? It's always good to be able to associate a person's body face with their name.

To be honest, I have no pictures. Daddy said that I might become vain if I had pictures of myself, so in order to avoid that evil, I avoid pictures of myself like I try to avoid sin.

                  Aren't Muslims really against pictures?

                  Hmmm...

I'm not one of those Muslims!! They're creepy! I just don't have any pictures because if I was to be vain, then I'd really have no worth. Please don't get me wrong, some people can have pictures, I'm just not allowed to have any. It's not because I'm a Muslim.

They are creepy aren't they. I'm glad I'm now old enough that they have no interest in me, as I understand it its only peadophilia they like.

I don't have a picture either, sister, as I'm sure you've noticed. But that's because my hair is still short after a life of sin and I wouldn't want to inflict that on the True Christians of this forum (Psalm 101:3). A girl raised as a good Christian such as yourself should have no such worries.

Sadly, because my hair is so thick, I have to get it cut to shoulder length to keep it managable. I'm ashamed of it, but until I can figure out how to keep it managable, I have to keep it shoulder length. Also, my hair is very dry, so I have to get the ends trimmed every so often. Last time I got the ends trimmed, the idiot haircutter (female) cut off half of my hair. I'm trying to grow it out again but it takes time. Please excuse my lack of a picture.

Does it really matter how thick your hair is, under the covering (1 Corinthians 11:2-16)?

I didn't want to cut my hair, I was willing to let my hair grow out. However, Daddy said that my hair is too unruly to let grow.
