So you are saying you're a man-whore? You "need to pay the bills," I get it.

Well, Jesus doesn't recognize such needs. You "need" to be Saved™ and that entails believing everything Jesus says and doing everything Jesus says, which doesn't work with any form of sexual impurity (I Corinthians 6:9-11).

    Re: Please help.

I am here simply as I have lost my faith, I feel that I have been caught up in the 21st century life and want to take a step back from that life and have the feelings for Jesus that I once had, I dont want to go into my reasons as to why I am now feeling this way as this is an open forum and please understand my decision in this, lets simply say that I have had a life changing experience.

I am not asking your members to forgive my sins as only our lord can do that however I am asking that with your help I can choose the path of redemption.

For example, if I leave my job I will lose my home and possibly my family but if I choose them over Jesus then I will forever live in sin, I feel that if I can eventually be open on here I can eventually get the courage to talk to PTM. (Pastor Tim Macintyre), he may tell me that my time must be reserved and that the many hours that is needed to bring wealth to my life will be great, these are not words that I like to hear so I need the help from a resource that is unknown to help in planning my journey.

I have been looking at other threads on this forum and have checked out the background so please again understand if I am sounding reserved.

    Thank you.

Obviously not visiting my church in many years is a big one.

Using the lords name when I am frustrated.

    Etc etc etc.

I class myself as an honest man, i have never stolen or cheated. I drink little and try and keep myself healthy but i am missing something from my life.

I cannot stress how important this is to me.
Look, friend, why are you here? Are you looking for Salvation(R) or are you trying to get us to talk to you and behave judgementally?

Friend, not devoting yourself to Jesus is theft of services, just like stealing cable.

    Re: Please help.

Working on a Sunday is consigning yourself to Hell.

Exodus 31:14 Ye shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death: for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people.

It may mean being poor if you don't work on the Sabbath but it is better than eternity in Hell.

Please think very carefully about who is more important: being a faithful Christian or your financial situation of you and your family.

    Jesus is the only way.

    It's really quite simple.

This will set you off on the right track. What you do is you start here and read and read and read. The King James Bible is the definitive and indeed only reliable source of evidence for what God did and wants you to do. There are a great many people with their own opinions about what or who or even where God is that frankly do not stack up against the Bible. As you read it will become obvious that:

    1. The Bible is perfect and unambiguous; it says what it means.
    2. The Bible has no internal contradictions despite being written by a series of authors over many centuries; this proves all of them were inspired directly by God - a fact attested to in the Bible. 2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
    3. The Bible is a surprisingly frank and honest account of a God you may well not recognise from conversations with cafeteria Christians who just dip in and out for things that fit their sanitised view of God. This may shock you; for this we make no apology.
    4. Jesus is far more manly and abrupt and straight to the point than you may recall being told by people obsessed with teaching you that He doesn't mind gays and adulterers and people who pray in the open for people to see them praying.

We are unafraid of what you may find. Should you find anything in the Bible that disturbs or disgusts you then feel free to bring this to our attention and we will guide you to understanding that God is totally real in the same way as we have come to believe.

Welcome Orange to Gods favourite forum

Faith comes from the Bible (the King James 1611 version), read it, learn it and be inspired by it.

Take no notice of ridicule, the Bible teaches us it is good to be persecuted.

    Yours in Christ

    Noah

    What exactly are these sin?

As long as you don't sin against the Holy Spirit all sins can be washed away in the blood of the Lamb.

    Yours in Christ.

    Please help.

Hello, I have found your forum through another site. My name is Ryan and I am from the UK, I have been struggling for the past few years with my lack of faith and cannot seem to find the courage to talk to someone about it, I have always believed that I was an atheist and I have done some bad things in my past and preferring to live the life of sin.

Im sorry if this post is short but I am still unsure of the path that I should follow. My local church is the R.A.C (Rinde Avenue Church) however I have yet to visit.

I have read a few threads and posts on this forum and find that some are being ridiculed by others so I will ask that if you cannot give me meaningful advice then please pass by.

I do look forward to spending more time on here and learning about my faith.

    Thank you.
Working...
