I see you take Leviticus 19:27 to the very point. So few persons do that.

Re: Thank you LBC for showing me the Truth
A very good advice. It must have the same taste as well.
Indeed, as a good christian woman, you will find all the advices you need to have the proper place in your family.
May the Lord give you the passion to properly raise your children. You may call on me for any of your combat training needs (not for you obviously, for your male children).

Re: Thank you LBC for showing me the Truth
Thank you for your suggestion, but I know better than to try learning ancient Greek or Hebrew. I'm not smart enough, and it would give me headaches. I'm just grateful for the clear, easy-to-understand 1611 KJV. I read the parts that remind me how to behave as an inferior woman and find all the fulfillment that I need, with none of the confusion!Originally posted by Father Anderson View PostDear handmaiden,
Thank you for your kind thoughts and your prayers. Indeed, letting go of old ways, as of orphans, is a hard task to do.
As for latin, you can overcome it by learning ancient greek or hebrew. It is closer to the roots of the 1611 KJB, and will surely bring you much more joy than this language used by mary hailers.

F. Anderson

P.S. A little tip, some packing peanut material is made from cornstarch. If you experience a craving for communion wafers, just eat some of those!

Re: Thank you LBC for showing me the Truth
Dear Anderson, I, too, am an ex-Mary Worshipper. It can be very hard to let go of old ways. On Fridays, I feel an overwhelming compulsion to get a fish sandwich from McDonalds. When I hear sirens, I want to cross myself in prayer as a way of considering the people involved in whatever emergency the siren signals.
The worst part is that Latin still has a deep mystical hold on me. But, with Jesus' love and guidance, I will no longer use such satanic sayings as "carpe diem" and "semper fi".
My prayers are with you.
~~ Compatriately Yours,
Handmaiden

Dear Zachariah,
This is a wound I acquired in battle in Ireland. I am afraid I did not choose where the bloody monster would try hitting me. I could have chosen to have it taken away. However, I prefered to keep it to remind me and others of the consequences of carelessness.
Dear Zechariah, your answer indeed brings scriptures in my mind. How holy is it! Colossians 3:8

Hey padre, what's that on your cheek, some kind of war paint? You an injun or something?
(Leviticus 19:28) "Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the LORD."
Yours in Christ (NOT MARY),

Re: Thank you LBC for showing me the Truth
Thank you, Pastor Ezekizel. I already have read both discussions and found them informative.
As for the father part, it is one of the titles I used to bear when I was part of the rcc. Sincerely I think I put it by habit. Among the other nicknames I have been called this for so many years...

Thank you, Brother Faith Machine.
As for the RCC, or moreso the rcc, I only have Psalms 7:14-17 which pops up in my mind now.

Re: Thank you LBC for showing me the Truth
Welcome, Brother Anderson!
(Sorry, I kinda have a hard time calling you "Father.")
Usually I take people to task for failing to properly capitalize faith-related pronouns, but I must say when I look at your lower-case typing of the phrase "roman catholic," I get the feeling we are going to get on famously!

I know, Redeemed Papist, I know. Horses are being held, although not bible study.
I brought upon myself to acquire an original of the KJ1611 bible from my old place of employment. I read it every day. It does being me peace because I know I am in the right path. It also brings me pain because I now can reflect clearly on my past actions.
The path will be long and hard, but then Salvation is worth it.

Re: Thank you LBC for showing me the Truth
You're not getting into Freehold without being saved and certified, friend, so hold your horses.Originally posted by Father Anderson View PostAs your name implies you probably know my kind is forbidden to marry in the RCC. I have raised many a warrior for the Christ, but never have fathered yet. As soon as I prove worthy, I will increase my worthiness by doing so.
I would prefer to move to Landover at first, though. Good Christian women are hard to come by, and from browsing your forum I now know I will be able to increase the Holy Army there.
Secondly, it's relatively easy to become an ex-Catholic. I suggest you start reading the Bible and see how very much mistaken what you have been taught actually is.
