Re: Help me understand
WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? I ASKED QUESTIONS.
Did they not teach you anything at that "Bible College". I asked legitimate questions that warrant a legitimate answer. If you don't have the answers or the knowledge to provide me these answers then please feel free to leave this questions to someone a little more learned in the subject of religion.

Matthew 10:14 And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.

Re: Help me understand
I'm actually white
I'm an adult, who works. Again, if you didn't catch it, I'm Presbyterian and religion isn't the most important thing in my life right now.
Back to my questions.
I've added another one,
Mark 10:31: "But many who are first will be last, and the last first."
Don't think the Bible condones you thinking you are better than me because you are a "True Belieber"

Dear NigraTool;
This is called the INTRODUCTION section for a reason. It's not the "let's piss in Christ's cornflakes" section.
Please tell us about yourself, your church, and your walk with Jesus.
If you'd like to find out more about Landover Baptist Church, please read THIS thread created especially for new posters.
If you have a question, use the "search" function before posting it. Most likely it is being discussed somewhere on this Godly forum. Please don't waste God's precious bandwidth.
You will keep a respectful tongue in your head whenever addressing your betters, which includes all True Christians™. Failure to do so, or any attempt at inciting debate or mockery of God's Divine Plan, can and will result in the suspension of your posting privileges.

Help me understand
First, I'm a Presbyterian, never too involved in religion. I pray nightly and try to be a good person.
I've been reading this site and I'm just very confused. You people from the LBC talk about how the KJV of the Bible is everything and you follow it to a 'T', but you don't.
Just help me understand these things:
For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. (Matthew 6:14-15 KJV)
In my reading of that, I take that you should forgive people for their sins and accept them. You all take no part of that passage and show hate and bigotry and go so far as to pray for people's deaths.
Another of your threads explains how if you are divorced then you are going straight to hell, yet one of your senior pastor's has been divorced several times. Does that mean he is going to hell or is there some out, where he has given himself to God so he gets to do what he wants?
Matthew 5:21-24 “You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not murder; and whoever murders will be liable to judgment.’ But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother will be liable to judgment; whoever insults his brother will be liable to the council; and whoever says, ‘You fool!’ will be liable to the hell of fire. So if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there before the altar and go. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift…” (Jesus’ words)
Colossians 3:8, 12-13 But now you must put them all away: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and obscene talk from your mouth. Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.
You all might try to practice what you preach. If the LBC represents religion then I have no doubt why there are more Atheists than ever.Tags: None
