Hey pottymouth, I have a couple of assignments for you:

          1) Learn the difference between "site," which in this case would be a noun, and "cite," which is a verb.

          2) Make a list of the top three things in your life that are making you so profoundly unhappy.

          3) Imagine how sweet it would be if Jesus could fix those things for you.

          Guess what, friend?

          Jesus can fix those things!

Wouldn't you like to know how you might be able to get Him to do so?

Stick around and we'll teach you.

            Hi Misunderstood

Welcome to God's favourite forum, we think women are 'empty-headed' because they are. Are you a woman? If you are that would explain why Pastor Zeke has twice now asked you to introduce yourself properly and you haven't.

My favourite part of any introduction is the favourite Bible verse. What's yours? What inspires you?

The one inspiring me today is:

            1 Timothy 2:11
Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.

            All the best
            Genesis 7:5
And Noah did according unto all that the LORD commanded him.

I'm glad you asked! The first step is to tell Jesus you're sorry for all the sin in your life, ask Him to take control of your life, and accept Him as your personal savior.

OK, I guess maybe that's three steps. One step, three steps, who's counting? All things are possible in Him!

It's great that you love Jesus. The Bible teaches us that Jesus is God and that Jesus is the Word by which all things are made.
                      JOHN 1:1-4,14
                      1
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

                      KJV

Without The Bible we would not know anything about the historical life of Jesus, we would have no record of His words and we would not know that when His blood landed on the earth at Calvary it changed the world forever.

The world would still have changed, of course, but we would just be living in it with no knowledge of what that change had been.

                      God is always consistent.
Malachi 3:6 For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed. KJV

I have experienced things which have made me unhappy but that was at a time in my life when I did not understand about Jesus. The Bible explains it like this:
                      JOHN 1:4-10
                      4
In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.
7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.
8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.
9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
                      KJV

We learn about God's love in The Bible. Our own understanding is meagre and feeble but God has given us The Bible so that we can learn and come to understand more of Him and the deliverance He made available to us by begetting Jesus and arranging for Him to be whipped, murdered and pierced with a sword so that His blood could run out onto the ground.
                      ISAIAH 53
                      4
Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
                      KJV

That is why in Him all things are made new: II Corinthians 5:17

Even your greatest sadness will be turned into joy, John 16:20. That is just so wonderful!

But unless we read The Bible we will never understand what God has planned for us and will have no examples of just how magnificent His Love is to reassure and guide us in all things. That's why we were once distressed - because we thought of God as we might like Him to be rather than as He really is. Through reading The Bible we learn and understand the differences (between who we might think God is and who He really is). Then we "die" to the old sinful self and are Born Again in Jesus!
I Peter 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. KJV

                      Hallelujah!

And you've confessed your sins to Him? And invited Him to take control of your life? Are you sure about this?

That is not possible. When you were born you were already contaminated. Sin is the reason why God had Jesus killed in our stead but The Bible doesn't just stop there; God teaches us:
I John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. KJV

Notice in particular the first 5 words: if we confess our sins.
At some point in between one's birth and one's conversion that confession MUST TAKE PLACE. Until that has happened you cannot call yourself a Christian because you have not complied with God's conditions. When people disregard what God has explained so carefully to us, in The Bible, they can not be considered to "love" Jesus and in fact God describes such people as HATING Him.
                              DEUTERONOMY 5:7,8-10
                              7
Thou shalt have none other gods before me.
8-10 Thou shalt not make thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the waters beneath the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of
them that hate me, And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me and keep my commandments.
                              KJV
                              So two options.
                              1. them that love me .Accept what God says and obey His commandments
                              2. them that hate me .Hate God
God has explained in detail how to become a Christian. It involves making a decision. When you make that decision your life changes in such a radical way that what we called "life" before is as darkness, in the new light of His Word. And no-one can have "always" existed in that glorious light.
. . . . Praise the precious blood of Jesus!
                              II CORINTHIANS 4
                              3
But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
5 For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.
6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
