Faith in what? You have already mentioned more than once that you are utterly ignorant of God's word, the KJV1611 Bibe. When asked for your favorite Bible verse, you talked about the "story" of Noah. Friend, the story of Noah is three entire chapters in the Book of Genisis, six through nine.

You have no idea about which you speak. You do not know God's Word, so you do not know God. And since you do not know God, you do not know Christ. And if you do not know Christ, you can hardly call yourself a Christian.

Well no one really KNOWS God, do they? And I'm sorry Professor, I thought it was a story. I don't mean to be ignorant, just don't really know about hence I'm learning .

They tell you that you cannot possibly be a Christian without reading ALL of the Bible.

I'm sorry, i was by no means 'giggling' as your practices or true christians. If anything i have admiration and respect and i'm sorry it initially did not come across.

Did you not see the Scriptural reference in his signature, which shows that the Bible clearly teaches that pi = 3? Maybe you should learn something before you insult a True Christian™ for sharing Scriptural truths.

I never thought Christianity was "pretty cool". God is not "cool". You either obey His commands, or He will burn you alive for all eternity in His Lake of Fire. Does that sound "cool" to you?

I'm sure you are concerned about God, and Jesus, and what will happen to you when you die. Am I right? Here's what I recommend for you:

Get a Bible. King James, of course. It's available online if you don't have a hard copy handy. Or any Baptist church will gladly supply you one.

Sit down and start reading. Keep a notepad handy.

As you read each story in Genesis, take notes. Write down the basics of the story and the chapters. Just a couple of sentences; for example, "Noah's Ark, God gives Noah 100 years to build a big boat, but doesn't tell people He is angry that they are sinning. He then drowns all people, unborn babies, animals, and plants because the adults refused to obey Him."

Follow that with a quick note to yourself saying what that story teaches you about who God is. Why does He do things? What does He consider important in a person? What does He value?

I guarantee that by the time you work your way through Genesis you will have a completely different understanding of who God is than you do right now.

Of course it means you aren't a Christian. What do you believe in? Some sort of vague nonsense about Gentle Jesus Meek and Mild someone told you at Sunday School?

And it's the Bible that says pi=3.00. if you are scoffing at God knowing a universal constant better than people then you really are going to struggle with the consistently risen Jesus as He dies and is risen four times.

How can you be a Christian if you are so lacking in faith in the only body of evidence we have about Christ?

I might just try that, you're right, reading a Bible would be the best thing to get started. But writing notes? That's a tad overboard for me. But I will try and read it, it's just a bit dull and hard to understand at times as it's written in ye old speak

And I get what you mean about it being silly to declare myself a fully obeying Christian without reading it, so that makes sense. I mean, I really should start to know where things are in it by now but I admit I've forgotten a lot recently, but I aim to get back on the saddle

And I'm not disputing what the other TC says, but I'm just pointing out that pi has been proved in mathematical fields. So maybe the Bible just got that one wrong. Again, not disputing, but if you YouTube it, it shows you why and how. Apart from that, I'm ready to read

The Word of God can be had for free if you just visit your local Independent Baptist Church and ask the Pastor for one. Make sure you ask specifically for a KJV1611 Authorized Version Bible.

If writing a few notes is too much effort for you, I guarantee you will never know God, and you will never enter Heaven. The choice is yours.

Then how come my old maths teachers and all maths books say it's 3.14?

Maybe there was a mistake in the printing I dunno, but if you Google it it will show you why pi is the number it is! For example, get a piece of string the length of the diameter of the circle and see how many times it goes around
