I can provide for my wife right now, but we are not financially stable enough to provide for the 9 children we plan on having in the future.
If you seek God's Kingdom and His righteousness, it will be no problem:

Matt. 6:31-34: Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day [is] the evil thereof.

By the way, have you ever been to New Jersey? I hear that it's lovely at this time of year.

You mean you have not consummated your marriage?

What Scripture do they base this regulation on?

I know it may seem different and radical, to some, but yes, my wife is also a student at Bob Jones University where she is studying musical education.

The Bible verse which we were referred to during our pre-marriage counseling was 1 Timothy 5:8 which states, "But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel".

Anyways, I thought someone as obviously God-fearing as you would know:

1 Timothy 2:15 "Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety."

Your wife's soul's eternal fate hangs in the balance. Git 'er done.

If it's God's will that your child should develop into a homosexual, that's His business.

Isaiah 55:9 "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts."

You're right, brother. What have I been thinking? I'm so glad I found this website and fellowship to help me stay on the path of God. I don't deserve your goodness, I deserve to be treated like a democrat for my lack of faith.

Oh, it's not my lack of faith that I don't believe this. It's the fact that pregnancy takes 9 months and has taken that long for a very long time.
