hi - what's in my heart trumps what's in God's Word

hello. i am a person that believes in God. i also believe in Christ. i also believe that the only things required of a person to be allowed into the kingdom of heaven is to be a good person and live your life fruitfully.

i also support gays. some of my best friends are gay. i assume some of you here would find that wrong right? well too bad.

i believe the God we have is a loving God. i believe is loving and is tolerant of all things.

Jesus died on the cross for our sins correct? then forgive the sins of those around you as Jesus did, and do not hate or tell someone they are going to hell for a belief you have because that is what being a hypocrite is.

i am disgusted with alot of the things i have seen on here. horrible explanations condemning one thing after another with no logical reasoning to support it other than you think God hates it.

which brings me back to the loving God. a Loving God would not hate.

i also believe that the devil does not corrupt. the devil is a punisher of the wicked who deserve said punishment. if anything corrupts us it is other men and women in our lives who have lost their way in life. so instead of blaming the problems of the world on satan it makes more sense to help those who are lost and give them a peaceful guiding light to follow.

i am also a fan of the show my little pony: friendship is magic. do i obsess over it? no. i simply enjoy the show.
i also like harry potter.
i like pokemon.
i like yugioh.
i like a bunch of other anime that ARE NOT EVIL.

subliminal messages is a bunch of BS. you will not influence someones right mind with a cartoon. other than making them stupid if they sit in front of the TV all day.

i think by now you know enough about me and some of my beliefs. now if you are the children of a loving God you will accept me and my beliefs as a good person would. and if i hear any hatred toward me or what i like i will of coarse be happy to discuss it with you as long as you are willing to be logical.

And you officially blew it! If just being good got one entrance into the Kingdom of Heaven, then most would be there, but Matthew 7:21-23, Titus 3:5, and Ephesians 2:8-9 say otherwise.

You support those whom God wants put to death? (See Leviticus 18:22; 20:13; Romans 1:26-32) Then you are the enemy of God.

Leviticus 20:23 - "And ye shall not walk in the manners of the nation, which I cast out before you: for they committed all these things, and therefore I abhorred them."

Deuteronomy 32:19 - "And when the LORD saw it, he abhorred them, because of the provoking of his sons, and of his daughters."

last thing. someone said something about sodomy. either you do not know what that word means or you didn't read. i don't think i wrote anything in my original post about sexual acts of any kind. but i will say that i do enjoy sex and say what you like about that but i will pay it no mind.

i know i am a good person and i have harmed no man nor women. i accept Jesus as my savior and any God worth worshiping would take that for what it is in such a corrupt world.

nothing is perfect. and he who expects perfection is a fool and will be disappointing.

Where did you hear about the one true God and Jesus Christ if not through the Bible??

Don't you see the problem with that? You claim to believe in Christ, but you reject the Bible. What other source of information is there about Christ? In what way are you not simply making up your "Christianity" as you go along?

If you cannot know without evidence, and you reject the evidence (the Bible), then how does it make sense to believe in any religion at all? In what way does your view differ from agnosticism? Why not just become a humanist and apatheist?

You refer to "any God worth worshiping." Wouldn't any God worth worshiping leave us a record explaining how He wants to be worshiped, so that we can know and not just guess and hope that we're right? We believe that He has left just such a record; you believe that He has not.

Thanks for pointing out a gaping hole in your own argument. Since we have the Bible, we can read the answer in Revelation 4:11. Since you reject the Bible, all you can do is speculate as to what "any God worth worshiping" would want. You'd better hope that your speculation is right because if it's wrong, the eternal consequences are dire .

By the way, can't you answer the rest of my questions?
