Do you people really believe the Earth is flat?

The Bible can be understood to indicate that the Earth is a flat circular disk, possibly with four corners.

The folks at Landover realize, as do I (and hopefully you) that the moon landing was a hoax. When government lies about sending someone to the moon, how can we take anything it says seriously? NASA sends pictures, and you assume they are real. But what of the picture of orcs? Are there orcs?

As we all know, the Bible is the only objective source of information about the universe. However, its words can sometimes be misunderstood, even by the most educated Pastors. It has long been my congregation's contention that Landover's Pastors have misunderstood.

This website provides a most excellent explanation, which you can read at your leisure.

However, the shape of the Earth is not a salvation issue, so we don't argue about it. It really doesn't matter; the only thing that matters in the long run is getting souls to Heaven.

So, don't worry about astronomy and such; focus on Jesus. When we are with Jesus in Heaven, we will know everything there is to know about the universe. Or at least the parts He wants us to know.

Jesus has made my life wonderful today, but I don't see how he has made it wonderful for all the starving children in the world who've never even heard of him.

Then why doesn't God just kill all the evil people before they're even born? Maybe because he doesn't exist?
