Read John Chapter 1 of the King James Version of the Bible to understand, especially verses John 1:10-14
10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Brother, I think it has to do with that rapscallion Joseph Smith's hallucination about gods and angels and golden tablets.Originally posted by Rev. M. Rodimer View PostWhy is that?
Atonement of Jesus Christ according to Mormons:
Makes Jesus sound almost like a superhero when you put it that way.Only He had the power to lay down His life and take it up again. From His mortal mother, Mary, He inherited the ability to die. From His immortal Father, He inherited the power to overcome death.

Why is that?Originally posted by JonathonWilder View PostVery funny and no that isn't what I meant, but that he could not atone for our sins until he lived a mortal life and experiance mortal trials. Re: Here Enters Jonathon Wilder
Well I know Jesus Christ to be the Savior spoken of in the Bible and by the prophets, the great Jehovah. The very Son of God and our Redeemer who came to this world so he may experience all things. He became mortal and lived a sinless life so he may qualify to atone for our sins. He is out Mediator with the Father, the one that provides the way to salvation by allowing us the means to repent and become sinless before God if but for as long as we repent and follow his words.
He who experienced all pain and sorrow for use, bleeding in Gethsemane before then suffering and dying on the cross. He who brought the world the truth, who spoke on his Father and prayed to him for us. He is our Savior, our Redeemer, our Advocate with the Father, The King of Kings, and Prince of Peace... he who goes by many names yet is our means of salvation and redemption. I know Jesus Chirst, he is my personal Savior and the one I turn too.

Have you ever been a wooden injun standing outside of the DOOR...Originally posted by JonathonWilder View PostI apoligize but... your posted make sense. 'then red face'?
BOOM-BOOM-BOOM-BOOM
BOOM-BOOM-BOOM-BOOM
Kaw-liga was a wooden Indian standing by the door.
He fell in love with an Indian maiden over in the antique store.
Kaw-liga just stood there and never let it show,
So she could never answer "yes" or "no."
CHORUS:
Poor ol' Kaw-liga, he never got a kiss.
Poor ol' Kaw-liga, he don't know what he missed.
Is it any wonder that his face is red?
Kaw-liga, that poor ol' wooden head.
He always wore his Sunday feathers and held a tomahawk.
The maiden wore her beads and braids and hoped some day he'd talk.
Kaw-liga, too stubborn to ever show a sign,
Because his heart was made of knotty pine.
Kaw-liga was a lonely Indian, never went nowhere.
His heart was set on the Indian maid with the coal black hair.
Kaw-liga just stood there and never let it show,
So she could never answer "yes" or "no."
And then one day a wealthy customer bought the Indian maid,
And took her, oh, so far away, but ol' Kaw-liga stayed.
Kaw-liga just stands there as lonely as can be,
And wishes he was still an old pine tree.
Screw you half breed.

It is his banal way with words. No doubt his face is the first to catch a punch in a bar.
He tires me like a bad retread.
