Please use Scripture to support that assertion.

Once you have failed in that effort, will you accept that you have made up a god of your own in your mind, who happens to agree with you on everything?

    That's called idolatry.

If you don't want to worship God as He presents Himself in the Bible (which you don't), and obey His Commands (which you reject), why call yourself a Christian? That's dishonest not only to others, but to yourself.

Why not be a Secular Humanist, or a Pantheist, or something like that instead?

I'm not homosexual, I'm bisexual. And yes, I can.

    Ahh, I'm scared.

Apologies for not capitalizing God, simple mistake. Apologies for also not quoting.

By loving both men and women, I meant emotionally AND sexually.

If I was looking for a "cool" religion, Christianity would be the FARTHEST thing away from what I would choose, aha. I was raised as a Christian.

Oh my, such a condescending manner you decided to post in.

Well let us stop right here. When you are here, we expect that you show our God, the one true God, respect by capitalizing His Name. What you want to call your god is your prerogative, but we ask that you show some sincere respect while on our Forums.

Well that is downright cute Just what makes you think you are a friend of our Lord? So far you've chosen to desecrate His Name to the same ranks as a sausage & egg sandwich. Have you accepting Him into your heart? Have you turned away from your wicked ways, acknowledging that you are as disgusting a sinner as the Catholic Hitler was? Or did you "pick" Christianity as the "cool" religion?

Again, we ask that you capitalize the Word of God whilst here on our forums. We show respect to the Bible and ask that you do the same. Congratulations on reading the Bible twice in your lifetime. At least that is a start! What verse spoke the most to you?

Thank you for your kind words. We here at Landover pride ourselves in being as close to Jesus as possible, this side of Heaven. We spend a tremendous amount of time in the Word, studying the Lord that we might serve Him better.

We welcome any and all respectful discussions about the Bible here. As you've been made aware, we are firm believers in the Bible as the inerrant Word of God, so we trust that you respect the Bible as the firm and final answer in any and all matters. But that being said, we'd be happy to engage in discussions and guide you in a better understanding of God's Word

Congratulations on having turned from your atheist ways and turning towards Jesus. That is truly heart-warming. And I am glad to hear that you are capable of loving both men & women. In fact, our Lord commands us to love all of our brothers & sisters in Christ. We are all here for the same purpose: to spread the Word of God to all corners of the globe.

I'm not sure what translation you are using, but it has been shown time & time again that the correct version of the Bible is the 1611 King James version. It was written in English that the people of the world might be best able to communicate with our Lord. While other countries have tried translating the Bible into their own languages, it is a cheap imitation, much like Goach is a cheap knock-off of Coach.

You go to both Baptist and Reformed Baptist Churches? That seems a little excessive. As I'm sure you are aware, there is only one thing that matters: your relationship with Jesus. Constantly going to different churches will only lead you to questioning your Salvation, so we recommend that you simply worship amongst other believers, like those you find here at Landover.

Anyways, welcome We are happy to have you here, and look forward to showing you a better understanding of the Word.

    Dear friend:

I welcome you in Christ's abundant love.

I have no problem with the general concept of different views. Nonetheless, we must keep in mind that God's will is not a matter of opinion; instead, some views on that subject are right, and others are wrong:

Matthew 7:21-23: Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

  • Why hello there, I am a false Christian rugmuncher who ducks questions.

My god is probably not your god, although I consider myself to be Christian. However, I'm not going to go all WBC on those who apparently go against the word of god. I read the bible when I was 10, and just recently as well. So I consider myself to be fairly more educated on The Bible than the average person. And you all, are definitely not average people.

I wouldn't mind having an intelligent debate once in a while with any of you, as long as it's not accusatory or upright ridiculous. I hope that I am not banned or anything for having different views upon The Bible and God.

So, let's get to the basics, shall we?

Here is the thing that you all are going to hate me for: I am capable of loving BOTH men and women. However, I know my relationship between God and I so I feel no shame or questioning in my feelings and attractions.

This is quite the unnecessarily long read, ah well. I look forward to discovering or learning about you all and your beliefs.
