My god is probably not your god, although I consider myself to be Christian.

Just to be clear, your "god" is usually depicted as being all red with horns on his forehead holding some kind of pitch fork and my God is God. How strangely pathetic is is that you "consider" yourself to be a Christian. You should spend some time "considering" eternity.

I don't need a book to create a relationship between myself and God. If I did, I would lie to myself about my attractions to women, subject physical abuse from my future husband (but if I had a wife..) and many other things that I don't really believe is God's word. Sorry to disappoint.

So if you don't have faith in the Bible then why do you associate the god you have made up in your head with the Biblical God? Why not just put your 'pick and mix' godly attributes on Zeus or Apollo? Or are you just used the name of the True God because He is local and convenient to you?

No, because I know my God different than you seem to know yours. I believe and know that God loves heterosexuals, homosexuals, bisexuals.

Aaaaah the cognitive dissonance of the cherry picker flaunting her cherry picking ways and then whining when rebuked. God clearly states you are worthy of death and should be killed. It's there in black and white. So either the Bible is self-contradictory and you can cherry pick it to mean anything or it has a coherent and consistent message for mankind about the moral way to be.

Oh this could be a fun game. Everyone: today I have decided that I am a Buddhist. Except I don't worship the pot-bellied man in the Chinese restaurants, mine is a Man/God who lived 2,000 years ago and came from Heaven to die for my sins. I don't meditate or adhere to any particular pacifist dogma. And the Bible is my "Buddhist teachings".

My god is probably not your god, although I consider myself to be Christian. However, I'm not going to go all WBC on those who apparently go against the word of god. I read the bible when I was 10, and just recently as well. So I consider myself to be fairly more educated on The Bible than the average person. And you all, are definitely not average people.

I wouldn't mind having an intelligent debate once in a while with any of you, as long as it's not accusatory or upright ridiculous. I hope that I am not banned or anything for having different views upon The Bible and God.

So, let's get to the basics, shall we?
My name is Brittany and at 19, I'm a student at uni for fashion design. I used to consider myself agnostic, but not anymore. Here is the thing that you all are going to hate me for: I am capable of loving BOTH men and women. However, I know my relationship between God and I so I feel no shame or questioning in my feelings and attractions.

My favourite bible verse would be "A quoi sert l'argent dans la main de l'insens? A acheter la sagesse? Mais il n'a point de sens." of Proverbs 17:16 LSG. Which probably gives away the fact that I am fluent in french, as well as english. Currently trying to learn Russian.

As for churches, I always try to switch them up.

I am fluent in French AND Russian (as well as English) and it is not nearly as impressive as you like to think it is. What difference does it make if you are going to Hell? You'll just be another pompous dyke down there, one of millions and millions.

Why do you come to a forum for worshipping Jesus and fling your poo at us? Do you see us joining the vagitarian forums and quoting Scripture?
