Hello to all the wonderful true Christians on this site!
My name is Mary-Jane and I love this site and wish to meet the amazing men and woman of god on here!
I am a female, 17 to be exact and was given permission by my father to register on this site, with his watchful eye on my screen. I am currently about to be married to a fine christian boy (as my mother calls him) and am happily waiting to learn all I can about the true children of god on this site

Great, congratulations. It sounds like your father has chosen wisely. When are you getting married and don't you think the most important thing for you to be learning right now is how to best serve your husband as his wife? Do you really have any time to waste.

I pray that there is always a trusted elder such as your father or mother present when you are with this boy. Being alone with him will only open you to satan's temptations. Avoid this at all costs.

Thank you kindly, We are getting married on January 1st ^^ and I am learning from watching mother and father live everyday. Mother keeps informing me how she cares and serves father and this is how I learn. We will be living under his fathers roof,I will be like part of their family but satan's temptations?

I am glad to hear that you are learning from your elders. While I struggle to beleive you are innocent to the temptations I am referring to, I will spell it out for you. It is the temptation to have sex before marriage. Shield yourself from this by having a chaperon present when you are with the boy.

In that case there is something wrong with your wiring or tubes. Any healthy young man or woman has an urge to fornicate. It is only with the help of Jesus, the family, pastors and helpful members of the congregation that the temptation can be resisted before marriage. I know I struggle with this every single day and I consider every day without fornication a victory against satan.

See a doctor and get yourself examined ASAP. You want to make sure everything is in working order once you are called upon to serve your husband!

Seems like you are confused.

I think you need to figure out whether
A: Satan does not knock on your doors

or
B: You are resisting dangerous temptations and you are very healthy.

You can't have it both ways. You are either an unhealthy vegetable that is not in any way tempted or you are healthy and satan is knocking on your doors, just like he knocks on everyone else's. There is no shame in that.

Putting yourself on a high horse and in one word saying you are holier than I and not tempted and in the other saying that you resist temptations is not a very compassionate Christian point of view, is it? I hope this does not reflect on your dealings with your husband to be and his family. He does not want to marry a self centered nag, does he?

It's wonderful that you don't seek fornication! In fact, that's just what God intends. A woman's desire should only be for her husband.
