                    We do not speak absurd made-up words like "aluminium". We don't smoke "fags" or get "chips" with our double whoopers. Our babies don't wear "nappies", our scones are scones (not biscuits), our band-aids aren't "plasters", our raincoats are not "Macs" and there are no "lorries" (we have trucks). We do not call the sissy sport soccer "football" nor call actual Football "American Football". American is it's own distinct language.

                        Our buget is nowhere near that of what I'd expect Landover Baptist has. Our congregation is no doubt smaller and of lesser means. So we aren't flying off to Taiwan, Brazil, India and all those exotic places on a regular basis. Nonetheless there are opportunities from time to time to see the world. I was over in Africa a little over three years ago. It was there that my eyes were truly opened to the way of things. But getting back on track I have spent some time amongst the Brits, Krauts, Frogs and Italianos. All I have to say about Europe is that it is full of loose women, too much alcohol, 80's music and not nearly enough Bibles. As godless as this country is becoming it's a christian theocricy compared to Europe.
