I believe the bible was left open to interpretation and not to be looked at literally, as mentioned above in my introduction. Yes, I do believe in Jesus and God but I think the meaning to the stories in the Bible are more important then the stories themselves.

Would you care to explain a few of the meanings you find in these stories? Consider the story of Noah, where God wiped out 99% of the world's population - what would you say is the meaning there?

Simply put, with the current environment I live in where there is 1 religious person out of 50, I try to my best to stick to what the bible says and learn from the given life lessons.

Do you accept that the other 49 people are going to Hell? If not, what makes you think they can get into Heaven without accepting Christ?
