Pim, Becasue God has only seen fit to give 1, but, He, as with all things, is in control of how many children a person has. If He gives many, or 1 it is in His will and control what happens.

Faith Machine, I think you failed to read my response to your question on this issue, or did not understand the answer, so lets try one last time, on the question of "how many sons have you given to Jesus" I answered that question from a standpoint of that he was refering to "Spiriutal Sons", not actual human sons. Glad we could clear this issue up.

What is a "spiritual son"? When someone politely asks me how many children I have, it would never occur to me to talk about "spiritual sons." Is that a mormon thing?

I think you owe Faith Machine an apology for coming here and giving him such a hard time because he can't read your mind. He's a good and noble man, and a devout servant of the LORD Jesus Christ. It's judgmental attitudes like yours that give Christians a bad name.

2.Both my responses to faith machine were very plainly laid out, so that anyone could understand if they were actually looking for an answer to a question, so no apology needed.
3.I will give you one reference to spiritual sons 1Cor 4:17 Paul referred to Timothy as his son, he was of course not his atcual son, but he was making reference to him as his spiritual son.
4. Does not Paul say in 1Cor14:35 that if women wish to learn of things they are to ask their husbands at home? Hence only one ref, ask your husband for more.

Funny you folks try to dish it out but you can't take it back, and Zech Florida and Alabama are next door just in case you haven't been taught that, maybe you'd like to come for a visit and try to teach me some manners. And I hope you know that the people who come on here actually looking for help or answers, that you give them a bad impression of God and Christians with your little church you've got going here, God is going to hold each and every one of you, if there is more than one or two who write all this bull, accountable for every on you cause to turn from Him. There are actually some things that come to mind after reading Lee's post. They come not from the Bible, but from George Washington's notes on civility.

1. Every action in company ought to be with some sign of respect to those present.
2. Be no flatterer, neither play with anyone that delights not to be played with.
3. Associate yourself with men of good quality if you esteem your own reputation, for it is better to be alone than in bad company.
4. Speak not injurious words, neither in jest or earnest. Scoff at none, although they give occasion.

And from the Bible, I am reminded of the Beatitudes, with emphasis: Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth. These have humility to know their own ignorance, their own weakness, and their own need. In this meekness these which will inherit the earth demonstrate this gift of self control, and self discipline.

Now I'm even more confused! If you're telling me you're counting every sperm you ever spilled on the ground as a son given to Jesus, then the number would be in the millions!

Some of those may have been little girl sperms, though. I'm glad you acknowledge each one is a precious human life, and I hope you're not still spilling your seed.

Brother, I'm afraid those are sons and daughters given to Satan, not Jesus, as they never had the chance to hear the Good News.

At least our dear Lord will be able to savor the sweet smell of their burning. See Exodus 29:18 and Leviticus 17:6

Being a San Francisco native, I am, unfortunately, all too familiar with the smell of burning semen. There's a place called Orphan Andy's in The Castro that has a chef who likes to spill his seed right on the skillet and fill the whole kitchen and dining room with the smell of it.

For you to be able to issue infractions, you'd need to be a moderator here. Work hard to make up for all you've done to us, accept Jesus Christ as your savior, read the Bible every day, and maybe, maybe a few years down the road you might get promoted to moderator, but I wouldn't hold my breath if I was you.

I'm reading 1 Corinthians now, Zech, not yet up to chapter 15, but 1 Corinthians 15 29-34 reminds me of this forum that brings about much pleasure. To think, this the Lord experienced. The threats that a Christian may face, the ostracism (banning) and social persecution. Young Christians come into this place like a new recruit, ah yes, I remember basic, the insults hurled about and the want of being unnoticed, how I longed to blend in and not be seen as a rainbow. Yet there was something present deep down inside that had driven me to further service rather than quitting. Everything is a test to a young recruit, and I hoped that there's some reason, there's something better waiting beyond this whole facade.
